OH NO!

This is not how I planned on starting my week off! On my days off I work on the ranch I live on and this morning I guess after all the rains we had a tree just fall over when it I was mowing around it......Geezzzzzzzzzzzzzz Marie I don't have time for this! I could not for the life of me figure out how to teach Dotty Forrest how to take a picture of me removing the tree so I guess these pictures will have to do...hahaha
She is saying "What have you done now!"

Now what do I do with it?

I did find a small sign of Spring!

Hope all of you are not starting your week with tree removal....lol....I am suppose to be mowing but sometimes little things get in our way of getting something done! Lunch break over time to get back to the north forty!  Now where did I put my hat and gloves?
Love
Maggie

Oh dear......We have so many trees on our property I was clenching this weekend every time a gust of wind came along. We had so much wind.....BIG WIND!! However, we were lucky....We only lost some small branches!!
Good Luck with the removal!!

You are using the bobcat? Impressive!!! What a day though! What ARE you going to do with it? Chop her up for a bon fire...maybe you need that hunk from your work to come over to do the chopping. :)

You are so sweet about Kate! I am proud of her too!!! She is pretty amazing. We sure do have a lot of fun at the games cheering her on! I told her this year I am getting myself a foam finger :)

Maggie, oh how I wish I was there to help! I would love riding around and might even mow a few rounds after the hot coffee on the porch. Have fun! Blessings,

Were you driving that machine?? Seriously cool. I always wanted my own tractor. Not sure what I would do with it in town, but.....LOL
You certainly are multi-talented Maggie!

WHOA, Maggie! i saw lots of trees down around town and whilst driving home on saturday through the pine barrens, but this one looks like it was totally uprooted! was it already dead? maybe you can re-plant it? ;)

the flowers blossoming though - that's a good sign! i'm done with this cold weather!

Miss Dotty is a pretty little thing!

We are far from mowing anything.
We need some sun to get things started and we have not seen it for 9 days.
Thanks for sharing your photos.

I can just see you on that big ol' backhoe! A real girl after my own heart. Perhaps I could loan you one of the hats I'm wearing in my blog post today to wear when you're working outside?
Sorry I don't have she-she gloves to match!
Take it easy and don't "throw out" your back or anything else important doing all that pioneer woman work!
Love ya,
Donna

Wow! I am impressed! If you can remove that true, I bet you can teach your puppy to take pictures. Next time we have a tree that needs to be removed, I know who to call! I hope you have a great week! ~Dan~

Seeing this reminds me of when our big pine tree was cut down. It was growing into our foundation and had to come out. Seeing it laying on the ground and hearing all the saws whizzzing away for hours as it was cut apart into firewood made me DIZZY and deaf! :(

I hope it wasn't a gorgeous tree....was it? :(

Oh Maggie,
I really would love to see a picture of you removing that tree. That would have made my week. And so funny to see the pic up on your sidebar. Libbie called me this morning and said you enjoyed that post and that she wished you could live closer and come to a game. Lib's words were "I think she would show up with a painted face and a gigantic foam finger!" Now that would be worth seeing!!!
Kate
PS- as you are now the 4th sister, we should photoshop you in the pic!!!

Oh Maggie I am so relieved that you are ok!!
I can't believe you were mowing around that darn tree when it decided to come down!
You need a hard hat mowing that lawn of yours.
Be careful going around the other trees.
Talk to you soon!

Glad you are ok! I think it's such a shame when a tree falls down! It was really windy here last week and a tree fell across the road barring my way to my boyfriend's house! He had to run all the way to meet met to take me another way!

Oh Maggie, we do so love and adore you. A painted face, a finger thingee, and a horn! Wow!!! That would be so much fun. Our crowds would be so thrilled to have you there. Not to mention the team! I am not really sure of our schedule yet this year. I will let you know how far south I actually get.

And yes, if I had Photoshop, you would be in the picture!!! So wish I had it!

I'm so glad you're safe! If my hubby had been around he'd have it cut up for firewood for next winter and looking for more! Have a great week and be careful!
