Lets' Run Away!

Just so much going on I am having thoughts of runnning away. I could see me going down Highway 66 in my old Pink truck pulling a pink and white trailer.

Or What about this pink Shasta! Could you see me in it?

How about this old pink Station Wagon pulling a even smaller way to live.

Can you tell I love Pink!

Not to say I could not learn to love blue polka dots too.

So many ways to travel in style!

Do you have a favorite?

Want to go with me? Which one would you choose for our adventure?

Before I do run a way I have to have my drawing after midnight for my Chocolate Giveaway! So if you have not entered yet hurry over to my sidebar click on the picture of Fudge and it will take you to that post to enter. All enteries must be before midnight today central standard time.

I will announce the winner tomorrow and they can choose between Fudge or Peanut Clusters.

This is going to be a busy week for me. Choosing a winner, starting re-hab again Monday, seeing the idiot pain doctor also Monday afternoon and choosing an attorney to represent me. That's why I am dreaming of running away. Come with me all I can promise you is a lot of laughter and all the chocolate you can eat.

Have a wonderful week and Good Luck with my giveaway!

Love to all
Maggie

When I was a kid my family camped every Summer. In the Winter we would pick out our route, find the best camping site (flush toilets please!) and dream of the fun...we had a pull along camper that my folks bought second hand and fixed up really cute. My Mom had flowers painted on the door and the words: "The Love Inn" stenciled on it too! Can you tell it was the 60's? All fun and good memories and so many funny stories of those days, I could write a book! I love all the campers you've featured. My Uncle and Aunt had a Shasta and often traveled with us. Of all the ones above I love the blue polka dot and the last green one with the red flags. Count me in on this runaway trip..even if it is only in our dreams!

Don't run away until you get your giveaway that you won on Flamingo Toes. Bev is a blogging buddy of mine. You will look smashing in your new necklace and in your camper, hah. I want a vintage
Airstream. My Mom and brother used to work there. Good luck with the therapy (again) and the stupid doctor. Hope you find a good attorney and stick it to him. Oh, my that wasn't nicely said, hah.

I love all the pink ones and the last one, Maggie. I'm game! I'm tired of the day job and keeping my house straigtened and cleaned for potential buyers who don't come, and any number of other things!

Maggie, I'd settle for any one of them. I too feel a bit stressed and would like to run away.

I've been weeding some grass that has found it's way into my perennial flower bed and has made it's home there. What a back braking job. That's what happens when I skipped one season of weeding when I had major surgery. Now I'm paying for it. How nice it would be to be able to afford a strong full time gardener to keep my gardens and yard all weeded and trimmed. Now it's time to wake up from that dream of running away in a pink trailer and plan my day for tomorrow. Weeding, weeding, weeding. Have a nice week. JB

Have a nice week

I am with you on the pink ones :) But maybe when you swing by & pick me up we might need one of the big newer ones. Bring Christi & Kacie & I will bring Annie. We would sure have fun! You know we could hit Mouny Rushmore & for sure Graceland & end up at Disney world :) Now THAT would be fun!

They all look good, but I think I am going with the pink Shasta and when I think of work I think of running away...been dreaming of Tahiti. Of course it would be hard to get there in a pink camper. I'd love a tour of the national parks. Wouldn't we have fun!
Hugs and good wishes for the week ahead!

I've heard and read about a group of ladies who own these little jewels and travel around together. That's how I want to retire...someday:) Good luck with all the drama.

Cute trailers.

I know what you mean about running away. Sometimes it all seems to happen at once and trying to cope while in pain just makes it worse.

Sending you good thoughts for the week ahead.
Hugs, Sue

I believe you when you say you love pink! What a beautiful way to travel! As a child, we always traveled in our truck and camper. Not very elegant but fun for us kids to be able to move around in the camper while on the highway.

I hope you get some pain relief...SOON!

Any one of them would work for a get a way...maybe a different one each week or month would work too.

Praying that doctor finds his brain, gets a life and does the right thing for you. Will be thinking of you and sending up prayers for you this week sweet Maggie. No matter what that idiot doctor says...you do what you need to do to take care of YOU my sweet friend. Love and hugs

Do you know how many times I have thought that?? I have a friend who did it....and some days (MANY this year!) I have wanted to join her!
Lets go in the little Scotty, Maggie, with the girl painted on the side. I, too, as a child went each summer with my parents and we had marvelous adventures.

"..headin' down the highway..."!

I'd go with you in a heartbeat! I think we'd have to get a gov't loan though to pay for the gasoline. :-) It would be so much fun and I think we both need a break.

Best of luck for your therapy and especially with the idiot Dr. I hope you find a reputable attorney. Will hold you and all these issues in prayer. Keep us posted!

Oh my gosh - what cool photos - I adore pink, but I have to say the polka dots have won me over!

Oh my gosh, these are all so stinkin cute. I understand what it's like to want to run away, I feel that way every now and again. Any of them would be great, they're all so darn cute and comfy looking. And if you park in a pretty setting, then it's even better. :)
I'm sorry to hear about your pain and your idiot doctor. I truly feel for you. My sister has had some issues that are similar, with no it all doctors who don't seem to listen or care. Very frustrating.
I hope you will get a chance to take a fun break and relax in a cute, very pink, camper. It's so great to meet you and I'm excited to come and visit your super fun blog!
Have a wonderful week and I hope you get some relief from your pain very soon!

I better get busy and remodel my old trailer. I am not going to show these pictures to my grandaughters - they will want to decorate it themselves.

I kinda like the first one, with the blue polka dots in a close second.

Good luck with everything this week. I hope to heck they don't try to send you back to work again.

OMGosh Maggie! I love those old campers! I keep threatening my daughter that I'm gonna put one in my yard and make her come home to live... lol. Really though, I'd love to have one in my yard all decked out to my taste.
Love & Hugs,
Carol
p.s. I'll go with you gal:)

You are a wonderful gal but those pink ones stressed me just looking. I would have to follow about a mile behind you down the road in that last one. Sorry, pink just isn't my color.
Good luck with the attorney. You so deserve a break. Pick a brilliant one but he could also be cute.

Oh my goodness glory girl, although I do love the pink, I think the calmness of the blue would put in the zone for total relaxation for our adventure! Sounds like ya need some 'down' time and what a fun gal to run away with!

Truly girl, you, your health and work situation are all in my prayers.

God bless ya and have a good day my sweet friend!!!
