Better Late Than Never!

Well after getting fully dressed today I decided to put away most of my Christmas decorations.
Sorry I meant to do a Christmas post and show you what little I decorated this year.
This is one of my mantles. I used the old timey big lights on it. Never thought I would use them on a mantle but it worked with what I used for decorations.

I went with a simple wreath this year too.

Did not hang my pink stockings but some old vintage ones for me and Tinkerbell!
One of my favorite Santa's!
The other mantle in my living room. I just placed angels around on it with small lights and an angel scarf that stays up most of the time.

My sweet DL Andrea ask me if I wanted this old Santa and I jumped on it I thought he was too old and cute to throw away.

Some things you can not put away like this sweet card of Libbie's babies!

Hope you are having a good week. I finally put my bra back on today. hahaha I know a little too much information. I got caught twice by two different men that came out to the ole farm house. One to pick up a truck and another looking for a place to rent. haha.....Hope my jacket covered those babies up.

Anyway remember when I first started my site and I would do the Temptation Monday's. Well I have been wanting to do those again. Instead I just worked on a page that is underneath my header called Tempations. If you click it on it will take you to a list of my friends on here that have shops or pieces for sale. I know it a little late for Christmas shopping but they stay open all year around. lol

Also I went through my bloglist and being tired tonight I know that I missed a lot of you that have shops online. So just email me with your URL and I will be glad to add you to this list. grandmayellowhair@gmail.com Plus forgive me for missing you!

Headache coming on so off too bed.  I am glad I only had two small trees to put away instead of my large one. Have you finished putting things away too besides your bras. lol Sorry I could not resist.

Sweet Dreams

Maggie

Well, I'm glad Ms. Pearl was able to put the "girls" away!

As for the decorations? I love the old-timey lights. They remind me so much of being a little girl and SO excited for Christmas.

Your mantles are so beautiful.
It's kinda sad that the decorations have to be put away.

Hope you get some rest and get rid of that headache!

Your Christmas decorations are pretty.

Sorry you had to get back into that bra...none for me still today...love those days of freedom and when I get one I enjoy to the fullest.

Sorry about the headache, hope it went away.

Goodnight and sweet dreams, sweet Maggie. Hugs

I haven't put one thing away yet. The plan is to get it all back in the attic this weekend.

Wish me luck!

My Christmas things are down but not put away. Can you say disaster zone.

I was going to say does "fully dressed" mean you wore a bra, then? : ) I still have to put my stuff away. I've been taking things and putting them on our pool table; kind of like a clutter central and then I'll bring my bins back up from the basement storage and put everything in there. I always hate the putting away part!

Thanks so much for your nice comment on my box, Maggie! I actually have the keepsake box posting on Friday because I needed to ask for some help on it, so you will get to see it.

Loved you mantel and the Santa is just precious.
The only bad thing about decorating for Christmas, is the blah look our houses get when stripped.

Good Morning Maggie! I already commented on your Temptations site, but wanted to say "hello" here also. Thanks for including me with your talented artist friends. I'm getting ready to update my Etsy store this weekend. You have a great following because you're such a kind and loving friend. Hope your Christmas was lovely, and I know getting it all put away can be a drag. Still have lights outside, but it's been too cold to deal with that. I haven't been blogging much, but intend to get back with it. Have a fabulous day!

Maggie, your Christmas decorations are lovely and I love that angel scarf draping your mantel. I've taken down my Christmas tree and lights, and my Snowman parade on my mantel and most of my santas and snowmen around the house.
My nativity, Christmas village and my reindeers and wreaths are still up. I'll put those away in a couple of days. It took me a whole afternoon to pack every thing back.

My bras is on to keep my only citrus from freezing. It's so cold here. Prayers for healing your back and Gary's cancer. Hugs. JB

Oh Maggie...how I have missed you too! Your decorations are beautiful. Love the card of Libbie's babies...isn't she one in a million? Even though I haven't visted you like I would have liked or for that matter "should" you are never far from my thoughts. I am so sorry to hear about your brother and I am sending up prayers for him, thank goodness he has you by his side. Papa Calentino's cancer is back and he's decided not to have treatment again and ride this out, can't say I blame him as the Chemo was just awful.

We both had a challenging 2010 and I am determined that 2011 is going to be a much better year for us. Sending you love and big hugs my friend...I adore you!

Maggie, I had my blog book done at this site:thecutestblogontheblock.com..it was easy except for my computer problems. It's 14.95 for the first 20pgs., then 35cents a page after that. I tried blurb but it was too complicated. Now, if I get my computer fixed hopefully next year I won't go through the mess I did this year! Good luck with it and let me know how it turns out!

Your decorations are lovely, especially the all white mantel. I've still got a number of snowmen around. Just enjoying them too much to pack them up. Did pack up the office collection.
Sending smiles and good wishes to you!
