MORE PICTURES OF MY FARM HOUSE

So happy to be off from the Sheriff's Dept today so I made up my bed threw things in my one closet and took some more pictures of the farm house. I even took some out side picture from the inside. I know how lazy is that but it is cold and sooooooooooooooooo muddy that maybe tomorrow I will venture out for some good shots.
You will see things are not as neat as most homes especially when they take pictures but I knew you sweet things out there want the real me. lol
Okay just click the X at the top of this page when you get bored. I know these are a little much but hey I have a new toy. Next week things will get back to normal.

We will visit the my bedroom where I live most of the time while it is so cold. This top picture is walking into the room where I have my desk (yes it is pink) with my computer. Second picture is taken sitting at my desk......

These two pictures are also bedroom. Sorry about the stuff in my bookshelves. Lord I did not know how bad they looked until I saw these pictures. Also my shoes by my bed oh boy you guys are really getting the real me here.

I am going to hang this picture over my bed. My darling Kaci drew and colored it for her grandmayellowhair.

These are the two corners of where my bed is on the other end of the bedroom. See how silly I am she belongs outside on my porch but in the winter the wind just takes her away.

Now I moved in to the front room of the house where I have living room/dining room. Yes sofa is pink! My den furniture that I dearly love is living over at my oldest brothers home because I can not get it through these small front doors. I miss that sofa and chase so much I need to figure out how to get it over here. This furniture was in my formal living room at my home in town.

My bench at the top that I love but had no place to put so it sits by my front door........Here is my silly Tinkerbell looking outside on the front porch.

And this is why Tinkerbell looks out the window so much at my Tom cat that loves my YES pink rockers. lol

This is the pink house that is on this ranch behind my house. I took this picture from the bedroom window. I will have to show you better pictures of it. It is a darling home. Mine is yellow with a white picket fence. No one stays in this pink home unless my landlady comes from Nevada.

This was taken of my side yard out of the back door. Wanted you to see some of the large oak trees. Tomorrow maybe I can grab the mule and ride around taking more pictures of the oaks.

This was taken out of my kitchen window. Only shows one of the many oaks I see from this window.
Ok you have to be bored by now so I will save the rest of my little house in the country for another post.
I made some really good potato soup that I am dying to have for supper. Wish you were here to join me!

One more picture of where I cooked the potatoe soup! The smallest kitchen in Texas!

Sweet Dreams
Maggie

Oh Maggie...
Sweetie this post is so terrific. I love it. I love the little picket fence, and the beautiful trees. So romantic.

I love the pink couch, and especially that bird cage. Lovin it. I also love the little cabinet in the kitchen that houses your plates and the beautiful lady vases. So pretty. And seem to fit right in.

Thank you for the tour, it doesn't bore me and I so enjoyed it. I can't wait to see your mule. Take a pic of him/her too.

Happy New Year sweetie, I have so enjoyed 2009, I can't wait to see what trouble Ms Pearl finds in 2010.

Hi Maggie:
Isn't pink just the most restful color ever? I had it in one of my rooms up north and loved it. Might have to do that again somewhere in our (only) southern home now. Thanks for the lovely photos of your place. I think you should include a photo of you "on your mule", too!
Happy New Year, friend. Hope you're well on the mend.
Hugs,
Donna

Thanks for the tour 'round your lovely little farmhouse, it sure put me in the 'pink' of things this morning. Your colors are just delightful. Now girl, if ya'll would stop pointing out stuff awry we would never notice it through the beauty you have created.

Thanks for being here for us and lifting our spirits throughout the year. God bless and Happy New Year!!!

See you are enjoying your digital camera. The oaks reminded me of my fathers Tx farm which had a mixture of post oaks and live oaks.

I see you like pink; My Mother like the color so much she turned the rest of us off. We girls were dressed in pink whether we looked good in it or not. Sister did, I did not.

Happy New Year.

Good morning everyone and thanks for all the sweet comments about my little farm house. Reading your comments helps me to not miss my home in town so much that I have rented out. All this furniture was bought for that home so finding a place for it here was a challenge. My wicker in my bedroom was bought a piece at a time for my sunroom in the home in town. I do miss my sunroom but the view out here with all the oaks is a blessing. A lot of my pieces that I love are at two of my brothers homes. I just wonder if I will ever get them back. hahahaha
Anyway this little farm house had not been lived in for a long time so I got busy and painted it the colors that I thought it needed or I needed and I love it more every day.
Except in the winter you freeze no matter what you do. Just too many cracks where the hair comes in.
My landlady loved my pink and green so much she painted one house out here pink (same color of pink I used and another one the same green) I could not believe it but they actually turned out really pretty.
Love all of you for taking the time to come by and leave comments.
I was headed outside to take pictures but my new camera want stay on. It just keeps shutting off....HELP
Happy New years
Maggie

I love your bench and I must tell you your kitchen is bigger than mine back in our place in Canada. My whole house is only 358 square feet. Kitchen/frontroom together, bedroom and bathroom. We also have a cabin with a woodstove and we are in there most of the day, set up like a frontroom with tv, computer, couch, table and cooking stove. All I need is a sink which is coming this summer.
Thanks for your comments and yes I would love to put my granddaughters homemade stuff on your temptations Monday. I will email you when we are up and ready!
Hugs

I'm so glad to see pics of your home and yard so I can picture you there! I've never ridden a mule. Is it hard? I expected you'd be working tonight hauling drunks around and getting thrown up on. I guess handling a mule is far easier! Wish I had that scenery to look at! Happy New Year, new friend!

DEAR MAGGIE,
YOUR HOUSE IS VERY PRETTY...A ROMANTIC HOME BY THE TRUEST DEFINITION. I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED A YELLOW HOUSE WITH A WHITE PICKET FENCE WITH VINTAGE TEA ROSES GROWING HAPPY AND DANCING WITH THE LILACS. I DO LOVE YOUR COUCH AND ALL THAT WHITE WICKER. I HAVE STARTED A NEW BLOG CALLED SIMPLY DEBBIE. YOU CAN GET TO IT FROM MY PROFILE PAGE AT THERE'S AN ANGEL ON MY FRONT PORCH. I WAS SAD THAT I MUST BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG AS I LOST 13 FOLLOWERS ALL WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS AND ALL FOLLOW EACH OTHER. THAT'S WHY I LOVE THE NAME OF MY NEW BLOG.....SIMPLY DEBBIE...I AM WHAT YOU SEE...I MEAN WHAT I SAY....AND I FOLLOW JESUS,WHO WILL NEVER LEAVE ME WONDERING WHAT I DID WRONG. BLOGGING CAN BE A VERY BEAUTIFUL THING BUT IT CAN BE A VERY HURTFUL THING.

Maggie....thank you for the tour of that darling house of yours. You are right..that is ONE small kitchen..but you seem to use it very efficiently.

HAPPY NEW YEAR by the way....hope things are MORE than wondeful for you this next year.

Odd that someone would send you those two pictures, with NO note. Crazy huh...but don't let it bother you..that is what they wanted apparently...don't give it any more of your precious energy.

Thank you for being so faithful and stopping by my blog and leaving a note.
You have some faithful followers as well.. and lots of them.

Love, Rose

Oh Maggie, your little farm house is so darling and so very welcoming! I would so love to be able to visit you there. I just love the way you've decorated it and I'm especially in love with your pink sofa:-) Don't you worry about books being out of place or shoes beside the bed...it makes the home that much more special because it's a lived in home and not a sterile home where everything is perfect. Thank you for the tour, I so enjoyed it:-) xoxo
