My Special Visit and a Giveaway

As most of you know I have been blessed in life with three wonderful children. Two sons and a daughter. Well Saturday my middle son Clint came to check on me and see if I needed anything. Bless his heart he went to the grocery store and brought back all kinds of things but my favorite of course was that he remembered how much I love Cookies. Yep give me a cookie and I am set for the day. Of course with a Diet Dr. Pepper and he did not forget those either.

I enjoyed my visit with him so much and would of loved to have seen my grandbabies and his wife too but you know its good to have just one on one time with a son. Thank you Clint for all you do for your mom. The brownies are good too. lol
Now since I am almost back on my feet I wanted to do a Thank You giveaway for all your prayers and get well wishes. I am a strong believer in being lifted up in prayer by many. So please don't hesitate if you need a prayer for yourself or others. Just ask!
I collect Mola's from Panama and frame them or make pillows. Some people even make purses. Endless possibilities. For this giveaway I am offering one winner a choice of ONE of these three Mola's.

This Mola is an unusual one for Christmas with number 25!
The one below is a sweet Angel.
All you need to do to be entered in this giveaway is to leave me a lovely comment on this post only and of course be a follower of mine. The winner will be chosen by the famous Random Generator. Let's end it August 6th at midnight central standard time. I picked that August 6th because I am hoping to be released from the doctor on that day.
Good luck to all that enter and Bless you for being such a dear friend to me.
Love to all
Maggie

Hmmmmmm!!!Significant day for me. My grandmother's birthday and the day my first husband was killed in a wreck. If I win, I would chose the angel Mola for obvious reasons. You could always wrap up one of those cookies and slip it in the package too. Yummy!!!

The only thing better than chocolate cookies (with milk) would be just the milk chocolate chips! I'm awful, aren't I?

I'd follow you anywhere, you know. I especially love the first mola. The birds are just wonderful.

I'm so glad you're feeling better. Our prayers are being answered.

Hi Maggie, Cookies and Diet Pepsi is what I like. I have two sons and a daughter, plus three grandsons. My youngest son will be getting home from Oklahoma City this Friday. He has been there for training for his job for the last three weeks. I hope you get your release the day before my youngest grandson's birthday. I would love to win the one with the angel, but they are all pretty. Have a great week. Your Missouri Friend.

You are so blessed to have children who love you as much as you do! The cookies look wonderful and a Diet Dr. Pepper always hits the spot.

I can not express to you how happy I am that you are on the road to recovery. I really hope that doctor will release you on August 6th. What a great day that will be.

I haven't forgotten about our tweaking challenge. Now that you are almost on your feet again, it will be a good time to do some tweaking.

I will continue to pray that you heal and get better really soon. You are in my thoughts and heart always!

I am so glad to hear that you are back on your feet. Of course, if I had a wonderful son bringing me goodies I think I would milk it out for a bit! I am sure though that you are about sick of that bed though. It is so nice to hear you sounding back to your self. I hope that things just go upward from now on!

oh sweet Maggie, you have no idea how you have touched my heart with this post! First off, there is something really special about a little one on one time with a son, I can't explain it either but it is special indeed. And secondly, the Molas...shortly before he died my dad took a cruise to Panama and brought back several Molas, he framed them and attached a little history, then he gave each of us kids one for Christmas. It was the last gift I recieve from him and it sits right here on my desk where I can see it everyday. Sweet memories. So glad you are feeling better, the tests all came out well and soon you will be back on your feet....Blessings!

I smiled as I read about your son. We not only share the same name but would you believe that my only biological son's name is Clint? Enjoy those cookies! Hugs

So happy to hear you are on the road of recovery, Maggie. Just ask, you said. So I'm asking for your prayers for Allen, the brother who had cancer and is still very ill. His lungs are totally full of blood clots from the chemotherapy. Thank you. Mola is a new word for me...where's my dictionary?
I seriously wish you would do some research about the artificial sweeteners in soft drinks, especially aspartame. I really do.

I think that August 6 sounds like the perfect time to have the drawing for this awesome giveaway because I just know the doc will be giving you good news. They're all beautiful, but I love the birds in the top one! I also love cookies, but have to eat the entire package before I can leave them alone.
