Big Girl Panties!

Put on your Big Girl panties! Pictures, Images and Photos

Thanks to all of your prayers that by the way are already working, I got up this morning and put on my Big Girl Panties! Who could not do just that after reading all your lovely encouraging comments. You never let me down and always know what to say to get this ole gal going.

Your loving comments touched me just like Warden Henderson's words if not more. So what if these test are not what we want to hear then it's nothing left to do but to kick butt and fight. A lot of you have been through this yourselfs and did not sit around having pity parties you put on your Big Girl Panties and beat it.

Knowing you as I know you I had to do this post before the weekend because I did not want you worrying about me over the weekend.  I am okay and to show you I am not taking this lying down I made up my bed this morning. lol  Since my accendent I have been in this bed so much it hardly ever gets made up.

My cat scan is scheduled for 10am Monday morning. They have not scheduled my throart surgery yet.

My next post will be about my pool therapy yesterday afternoon. I might even include pictures. Too crazy
was that experience. You should of seen me this morning when Tinberbell was slapping me awake for her breakfast....I almost had to crawl to the kitchen...I think I overdid the therapy. lol

Remember I love and appreciate each of you!

What happiness there is when I awake to find near me the gift of a Morning! ..Abbie Graham
and you as my friend....Maggie

Hello Sweet Maggie...
I knew you would be up and at'em. Even if for just a little while. Now don't over do but wear those BIG girl panties. I have had mine on all day.

I will be praying for you sweetie for this Ct Scan on Monday. Everything will be fine. We are going to only think POSITIVE.

Oh I can't wait to see the pool theraphy pictures. Yeah... At least you are getting outside for a ride.

I am still under lockdown until July 19th from the doc this morning, and NO talking for 1 week. THE Ear Nose and Throat doctor talked to the pulmonary doc and they say my vocal cords are extremely strained from all of the coughing and need a rest. I quess I am still under lock and key. I am trying to do what they tell me whether I like or not. To be honest, I DO NOT like it, but I have been writing all morning on paper. I might just get good at this.

Try to have a blessed day sweet Maggie. You are so in my prayers and thoughts. You are not alone sweetie. BIG Girl Panties. BIG Girl Panties.

I love you girl, many hugs, Sherry

Good for you, Maggie! Did you get your lovely necklace from Tara? I got mine today and she sent along a couple of extras. So pretty in person and I'm sure yours is, too! Glad you got up and were moving around. I think that helps a bit ~ gets the blood flowing and all that. I'm glad your test is Monday; I hate end of the week tests and then you have to go through the weekend wondering.

I just finished my last radiation treatment two weeks ago~(33 treatments) My cancer journey started last October and seems surreal at this point. I just wanted to say that big girl panties are great, and I did keep a positive attitude through it all...sometimes we need to just let it go and cry, scream and then let that be that!
I just had my family here from out of state and cooked for them. After everyone left I totally lost it and cried like a baby. Somehow my husband understood and said it's good to cry sometimes and went outside so I could wail. I was just such a great feeling to be alive and able to cook for them that it was kind of a happiness release!?!
I'll keep you in my prayers,
xo, Sheri

Your ability to keep going when most of us would seek the fetal position is amazing. You must know you are my new hero, aka heroine. Anyone who can kick butt when their butt is being kicked, has my vote for HOTY (heroine of the year).
Hope Mondays CT shows great progress.
Be whole soon.

Well, hells Bells! I've been whining because it's been too hot in the office to sit and read posts and then I read what's been up with YOU this morning! What kind of a friend have I been the last couple of days????

First of all, I agree, try and keep your sense of humor at ALL cost! Even at the expense of others! HA!

If I know you, come monday with the testing, you'll be joking and chatting with the techs out of nervousness to keep your mind off of things! This would be the perfect time to picture one of those Doc's that thinks he's all "That" and a bag of chips standing there talking to you in a Speedo. A thong would be just over the top....but something skimpy and in,,,,ummm Leopard! Yeah, that's it! Who is vulnerable now,"Mr. Doctor Man???"

I love you my dear, and I'll be thinking and praying for you! We've got some "road work" to do so, you'd best get healthy!

Big Squishy Hugs and a "Bus" on the Cheek!

something to be taken for granted, but an accomplishment and point of pride! Please rest and take care. We are all here for you!!

Dearest Maggie,

I'm catching up with your news once again, just never seem to be finding the time to blog or visit much during the summer months. I'm trying to rectify that:-)

I've just read your previous post and please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Never let it be said that the power of prayer doesn't work because it DOES!! I can see why you would be so scared that the breast cancer is back and it is hard not to let your imagination run away with you. I will be holding your hand in spirit while you're going through the cat scan!!! I'm also praying that your throat surgery goes well and that they don't find cancer there either. I'm glad you told all of us what was going on with you because just knowing that we're not alone helps tremendously.

Chin up, girlfriend, we're all here for you. xoxox

Maggie, I am just catching up on my blogging, and I read your recent post. My gosh, you are one strong, gutsy lady -- make no mistake! Everyone loves you, and everyone in the blogosphere is praying for you.

You take care of yourself, and we're all here whenever you need someone to listen

Love, Jo

Oh Maggie, I am spending a Sunday of doing nothing other then reading my blogs, catching up with what everyone has been up to lately. I will keep you in my heart and prayers that everything goes well tomorrow. I know that prayers help us a lot from experience. We are having a stormy day. The sunshine is there one minute and the next it is lightening, raining, wind blowing. We are in a severe weather watch until later this evening so who knows what we will get. I so enjoy reading your post and will be looking forward to the update. Take care. Your Missouri Friend

Dear One, I wish you much well, with your testing. And am glad you hear that you have your spunk back. But! Don't go over doing it, that spunk. We all need time to heal and etc. Do what your docs tell you tooo. But I'm so glad you are feeling better, about how you deal with this.

And thank you so much for your sweet comment in my blog entry today.

Auntie sezzzzzz... said...

Ooops, my link to my blog entry, didn't work, above. I hate it when people leave comments, and no link. So others can not figure out what they're referring to. So.......... Try again.......

Thank you for your sweet comment on my post of today.

-hehhhhhhhhh- What is going on with my ability to leave a click-able link???????? Grrrrrrrr...

I think you are on Blogger. So can't understand why my link, doesn't show up, when my comment publishes. It does, when I Preview it. ?????

One more time.... my post

Auntie sezzzzzz... said...

I figured it out! You don't have click-able links in comments, set to show!!! Like in a red color, so readers know it is a click-able link!

If anyone runs their curser over my comments... they will SEEEEEE the click-able link in what looks like plain words!

Wheeeeeeeeeeew! I thought I'd "gone round the bend"! -giggggles- Seeeeeeeee! Run your curser over this-->my post

Hi Maggie!! You CAN make pictures bigger, but they often distort. Once you save them, right click on the open photo, left click on "edit". A box will open, left click on word "image" scroll down to "stretch skew" left click. It will say "horizontal vertical" put in the size you want. I would start smaller, adding only 10 percent at a time. I hope this helps! XOXO Jody

Love to all of you. I have the alarm set for 7 in the morning so Sharon can take me to the hospital in College Station. It is about 45 minutes from here.
Just can not thank all of you enough for the good thoughts and prayers. I should know something Wednesday I hope no later and will of course let you know what I hear.
I think of all you often and hope and pray you are doing good.
Hate to think of not having you guys in my life.
Anxious to get well so I can catch up with all of you and get back to work. Also would love to be able to drive to Austin and see my grandbabies. I miss them and my kids so. Did you see the new pictures of them on the sidebar.
