Because of You!

Because of you and how worried you must be about Christi and myself I had to take a few minutes and update you on how we are doing.

Thanks to all of your prayers we made it through this past week. She seems to be getting stronger every day and assures me that she is going to be fine. We both wanted to thank you for all the prayers and sweet comments.

In all honesty several times this past week I was not sure how to deal with all of this and then I would remember you and how kind, supportive and loving you are and I knew that you were there for us.

One thing I have tried doing this week is to leave it all with the Lord. "Cast your burden upon the Lord."
I am ashamed to admit but I think sometimes I cast it and then recast it not sure what to do being so worried about my daughter. I have prayed to the Lord to help me release her to him because I know He will care for her both spiritually, mentally and physically in a way that I can not do.

Remember the prayer bench I bought at Warrenton this summer. I have worn it out getting up and down but each time after my prayers I knew that tomorrow held great promise.

Still even now I have not been able to talk about what happened to Christi but I know the love we all share out here in this wonderful world of blogging and that you will be patient with me.

Writing is good for me so I will try and write to you again this week. I miss you and love you!

I have thought of you both so much. I just know the prayers that come from here are very powerful and they will lift you and christi up. The thing that helped me the most was to count each little blessing. One blessing is you have each other.

Dear Maggie, I'm so sorry about about things being so difficult for Christie and you right now.

You are doing the right things in trusting our Lord to help. God loves each and everyone of us so much and although we think that we love our children so much, his love for our children is even greater than ours. I'm keeping you both in my prayers.

I can only hope that in time all will be healed and you can both have new beginnings.

Lots of love, prayers and hugs. Julia

Prayer is a very healing power, both to those offering, and those the prayer may be the subject of .

And Prayers are always answered, just not in the time frame we want which is instant--we are such a microwave generation....

The great thing about God is that even though we don't have the details on how to pray...God does.

On my knees each and every day for you and your sweet Christi. So glad we've heard from you and we'll be expectin' that praise report soon.

Take care sweet sister and give your girl a big hug from us.

God bless ya'll!!! :o)

So happy to hear that Christi is on the mend. So very sorry that you had to go through this. Anytime our children are hurt or have problems in any way, it is so difficult for us as parents. We just don't want our children to suffer in any way, and we want for them to always be happy.

You do have so much support and it is wonderful. We do love you and I want you to know that I am continuing to pray for you and Christi. A lot of people are Maggie and I'm sure you know that.

Take care my dear, and you are right to leave it all to our Lord.

hey sweet lady,
there is no shame in having to cast those cares hour by hour, minute by minute.
Even the grace to trust is sweet grace and doesn't come by our effort.
You're a mom and you love in a way that is gentle with yourself and your pain.
I surely believe the Lord is.
I just believe He is smiling and nodding and tenderly FOR you,
just like all of us are for you.
He doesn't demand a performance....loves to hear you share your "what if"s....pour them out to Him as often they come.
He gets it....understands your heart.
And LOVES and adores that beautiful heart of yours:)
As do I.
For you, for you, for you,
