Part 2 of JUST SHOOT ME

Gosh I sure miss all of you!....Just had to do a short post to thank you all for coming by here and checking on me and leaving me encouraging get well wishes. As always you are the best.

Thank goodness I made it through the three MRI’s on Monday. My doctor finally got back with me on the results and she mentioned me having to see a neurosurgeon as soon as she could get an appointment set up. It seems that I have really done it this time. I have a Compression Fracture between the 3rd and 4th vertebrae and several bulging disc.

So now it is waiting again for another appointment to see what the neurosurgeon suggest for my relief.

Miss you very much and hope you are doing well! Let me know how each of you are and what you have been doing. Take care and Sweet Dreams

Love to all

Maggie

Hi Girlfriend!
Sorry to hear your diagnosis. I was really hoping we'd be able to get together and go dancing some time soon! For that, I'd get to TX! Now, we'll have to put that on the back burner and you'll have a reason to get well asap!

I sure hope this doctor you're going to is giving you "Big Girl" medicine for the pain. I personally like the kind that lets you "sorta/kinda" know there is still pain, but you don't give a hoot. And it's great if the meds come in a "holiday dee-canter".

I'm so glad you broke out to write a post. I'm looking forward to you getting back to "normal" and writing those posts I love so well.

The silver lining in this cloud is that the "boys" have to do the yard work for you, and you don't have to clean up the old homestead right now. Perhaps you can spend a little time with Ms. Pearl planning some little act of vengeance on the ex and his bimbo? -ahem- or some such thing...

Take care and I'll be looking for the carrier pigeon with your next missive. Get better, for God's sake. I miss you!
xoxo

Ouch! I trust you're being properly looked after? Fed well and pampered a bit?
I'm glad your boys are taking care of the yard for you.
I hope Tinkerbell isn't beating your face in the morning!
Get well soon

Oh dear, Maggie, you poor thing. I know that you must be in tremendous pain. Why don't you have somebody read the blogs to you so that you can rest while you're hearing what's going on in blogworld? Thoughts and prayers and I'll keep checking to see how you are, my friend!

Know your in my prayers...ya can't keep a good woman down.

Your probably as antsy as I am when it comes to takin' it easy. I went down in my back and caught a nasty bug last week...I was down a whole week...so not me. Then as I was starting to feel better and get back in the swing of thing...I broke out with the worse case of shingles I've ever had, needless to say I'm down this week and oh, my yard is fast becoming a jungle.{{{{SIGH}}}

Take care sister and know I'm prayin' hard for you girl. God bless!!! :o)

No wonder you are in so much pain, Mags! They have a new thing I just heard about. They can inflate a baloon which will raise the fractured bone and inject material that will fill the crack. Hope you are a good candidate for this procedure. Will keep my toes and fingers crossed for you! :)
Hugs,
I.

Maggie, thanks so much for visiting my blog! Yours is sooo cute...but I'm really sorry you are in so much pain. I work in surgery (here's a prayer hoping you don't have to visit one) and my hubby is a Chiropractor so I have a small understanding of patients in pain. Hang in there and hopefully you can get some treatment and be up and walking/running soon. You seem like a really fun gal! Get well soon!

Hey everyone thanks for all the love you have been sending me. Waited all day for the them to call about seeing the neuro doc but no luck.
Had to get some new pain meds because the ones I have are just not doing it.
Christi came in this afternoon from Austin to stay with me again and I am so glad to have her here.
It's always feels better to have someone you love around you...thats why I blog so I can have you here too.

Maggie,

Since this is my line of work, it does sound like surgery may be a strong possiblity so please be prepared for that. If not, maybe a back brace for several weeks and here, it would almost mean a stay in an acute Rehab department for therapy. This is where I work as a nurse.
I know how upsetting this is to you but I learned a very long time ago that what is meant to be , will be and that everything happens for a reason. I know you may not see it right now but I have always found that in time, all becomes clear as to why certain things happen. Please do what I have learned to do....Kiss it up to God and place it in his hands and he will take care of you!

Hugs,
Debbie
