My Yard and Porch!

Today I planted a few mums!

Added a couple of pumpkins.

I put away my vintage tablecloths and covered the small tables
on my porch with bright colored oil cloth.

Hung some pretty hanging baskets but somehow walked inside without taking their pictures.
My porch is like my home inside full of colors

Just wanted to say hello and show you what I enjoyed doing today.

What did you enjoy today?

.

Sweet Dreams
Maggie

Oh how pretty it all is!
Today was quite gray here until the son came out around 4:00. Your tables look so cheerful and the flowers are eye-poppers; very bright and happy looking, even when the weather isn't! Good productive day!

Nice work! I just enjoyed getting home from work, followed by a ride in the country with my dachshund and my wife. Glad you're still "percolating," as my great aunt used to say.

Really transformed your porch. I know you loved doing it.

I am going through photos of our trip while recumerating from a heart ablation procedure which I hope alleviates A-Fib. So far, so good.

You're all set for Fall now, Maggie! I wanted to respond to your question on painting the bed, but your comment was a "no reply" email. Let me know if you still want suggestions, just email me {or reply to this comment} and let me know your email address. : )

Maggie, your before and after tablecloth change over pictures give a punch of color to your porch. It's amazing what a splash of bright color can do to liven up a space. I love those beautiful mums and blue flowers.

You're ahead of me, I still don't have my fall pumpkin decor out yet. I 'm still in weeding mode.
I was just getting ready to start weeding a massive weed problem in my vegetable and flower garden when big black clouds rolled in and the wind and leaves were flying and it started pouring. Now it still windy and the shower has passed and the sun is shining but everything is real wet and cold.

Have a great weekend sweetie,
Hugs,
JB

I think the oilcloth tableclothes are the same oilcloth that I bought at country living fair. I bought a yard of each of those two. So funny.

Hubby and I went out of town for a very nice late lunch and enjoyed the autumn colors along the way.
Trees are gold 'rust with white, white bark interspersed.

Everything around your place looking fallish and pretty. Do you have grass burrs like we do here in south Texas? I am constantly fighting them.

How pretty! I would love to come and "sit a spell" on your porch and share some laughs! I'm trying to play catch up after being gone last week and working the remainder of this one. I hope your weekend is perfect and fun!

Yes, even your porch and yard are colorful! You must have a lot of fun decorating.

I haven't done a thing for fall or Halloween. I know I should but I just can't get in the mood. Old age has really crept up on me. I used to enjoy doing all that stuff. About the only decorating I do anymore is Christmas and I still love that. I hope I always will.

I feel so out of touch with eveyone as I haven't so much as looked at a computer for over a week. We just got back from a fun vacation. You can read about it on my latest blog.
