Do Ghost Sneeze?

Happy Weekend to you my dear friend! I hope you are not involved in all this severe weather that is wrecking havoc across a lot of states today. So many storms, flooding and even more snow. Hard to believe!

When I was younger I use to wish quite often that my dad would move us to the East Coast. I am talking around Maine. lol....This wish was from a young girl who never in her life has been to Maine. They say be careful what you wish for because if my wish had come true I don't see how I would of survived the winters there. Now as I am older I wish for a least a trip to that area but of course in the summer months.

I have to share with you how stupid I can be and  then to the Ghost Sneeze. Yesterday was not a good day for me. In fact it was an awful day so in order to deal with it I decided to get rid of clothes in my closet that I have not worn for at least a year and clothes that were worn too much. One pile for Goodwill the other for the dumpster.

The main reason for doing this besides venting was in this ole farm house I only have the one closet. Yep you read that right. I moved from my home in town with maybe 8 closets to 1. Also no cabinets in this house well there is a small one in the bathroom over the commode. So on to the reason of me being stupid. I got rid of all of my warm up suits that I had worn this past winter and at least last winter. Maybe the winter before but who cares. lol

So this morning I wake up with the wind howling and my nose cold. Mind you I went to bed with no heat because the temps were in the high 70's yesterday afternoon. Even turned my AC on for a very short time while in the closet. Turns out some darn storm was blowing through here and yes it was cold. Not cold like you guys have in up North but cold! Immediately I thought WHAT am I going to put on for today and possibly tomorrow. Now I felt totally stupid for getting rid of my winter wear. Honestly this was only the second time in my life that I got rid of so many clothes. The last time was when I moved out here.

Wonder if I should raid the dumpster out front....hahaha...leave it to me to do something like this. Have you ever did this. Come on it's just you and me so tell me!

OK about the Ghost sneeze! I know I know this house in not haunted but then again it does have some times when I know I could be wrong in believing it is not. Like just a few minutes ago I was trying to get my hair combed so I could do a post for you this morning. Well I am in front of the bathroom mirror and I hear this really loud sneeze. Naturally living alone when you hear another human sound you immediatelyy think OH Lord where did that come from or something similar to that thought. So naturally I am thinking it must of been Tinkerbell that sneezed. To make sure it was Tink I did the bathroom search for her and no Tinkerbell. Not good so I look out the window thinking maybe someone was in my back yard. I don't see anyone.

Did I hear a sneeze? I tell you at my age you do ask yourself these kind of silly questions. Back to fixing my hair. Achoo achoo it happens again. By the second sneeze I was out of the bathroom door into the front part of the house.

There is Tinkerbell lying on the arm of the sofa sound a sleep after keeping me up half the night. By now I am clueless as what was sneezing or worse yet who was sneezing. So I go out side to take a walk around my house because could it have come from outside. I did not think so since it was so loud. Not creature was stirring not even a mouse. (sorry I could not help myself)

Make myself go back to the bathroom and look behind the shower curtain. Something a normal person would of done to begin with. No one uses that shower in the front bathroom and I am like a kid when it comes to looking behind it. Seriously I don't like doing that but I did and nothing there well nothing that could sneeze that loud. haha

Now an hour later I am just praying I don't have to use the bathroom for a while because I really don't want to hear another Achoo. So that is why I ask Do ghost sneeze?

Funny how I have a post in mind for you today and then a crazy yes crazy story like this happens. If I don't write down on a note pad what I wanted to post about today I will for sure forget it. It has happened to me before when I wanted to talk to you about something else and then I do another post.

Before I go away I wanted to tell you that Marydon at Blushing Rose husband Harold has been having some health issues and he had surgery yesterday. She was kind enough to send me a email and tell me how he was doing after his surgery. So if you can go by and wish Harold a speedy recovery he is a sweetheart.

Also my friends that are on my Temptation page are really working hard to get that site going. Some of them have wanted to be contributors to the site which I welcome anyone to do that because after all it is a site for their use. It is to support their hard work and their shops. So if you have not clicked on my Temptations page at the bottom of my headboard be sure and check these ladies out. You will be surprised at how gifted they are and if you want your site to be added to this page just let me know.

There are several wonderful giveaways going on now that I have put on my sidebar. I think one of them may end today. After you have throughly read everything possible on here then go to their sites and enter their giveaways. lol

Now what do I do today. Get rid of more clothes, call ghost busters or visit blogs.

Love to all

Achoo achoo

Maggie

My answer:

!. Give no more clothes away
2. Call the ghost busters
3. Visit blogs

It's the perfect prescription!

Loved this post, Maggie. I've given away many things I wished I could have back a month or so later. I may not have used them for years, and then the minute I dump them at the Goodwill, the very occasion to use them appears as if by magic.

No wonder I'm a closet clothes hoarder.

Don't know about ghosts, but my sweet little JRT is sneezing constantly! Taking her into the vet again next week to be checked out.

If I heard a human sneeze and I was all alone, I think I'd just pass out! Get Miss Pearl to check it out for you! :)

I have given clothes away...looked for them later and wondered why I couldn't find what I was wanting to wear...then after looking everywhere would remember I gave it away. That has happened more than once I am sorry to say.

Sure would like to know where those sneezes came from. I have no idea if ghosts sneeze. If I were in your shoes though I would be doing some research I think.

Sorry Miss Tinkerbell is still keeping you awake...that naughty girl needs to sleep when you do. Maybe you can wake her a few times during the day and that will help. :)

As always I loved your post sweet Maggie. Hugs

1. Contact Ghost Hunters (the Atlantic Paranormal Society)T.A.P.S. They're on the SciFy Channel. They'd love to go to TX when it's still cold up north.

2. Ask if someone needs a Kleenex and see if you het an answer.

3. Before #2 get out a poise pad, just in case you get an answer to #2!

4. for future reference, keep at least one cold weather outfit that fits...just in caes!

Maggie, you're several steps ahead of me.
I don't believe I have ever sorted out my closet. Don't believe me? Come with me and I'll show you.

Hugs,
oh, wait a second. Are Ghosts the same as Spirits????!!!!!! While I don't believe in Ghosts [my vision of a ghost is Casper] but when it comes to Spirits - - - why not

As soon as I go through a purge in my closet I always wish I had some of those clothes back. I probably had never worn that shirt for 5 years but all of a sudden I have to have it!

Ok - love the sneeze thing. Next time say "God Bless You" and see if "it" answers you! LOL

Hi Maggie, I enjoyed your post today. Some of the comments you received made me chuckle which I need right now. I know when I am in the house by myself, you think you hear all kinds of things. I don't know if ghost sneeze or not. I keep getting told to clean my closet, but I haven't as of yet. Take care my friend. Your Missouri friend.

Hi Maggie,
I sure wish that I could get fired up enough to clean out my closet. I'm sure there are some things in there that I've been looking for! LOL! I know that if I was alone in the house and heard a sneeze, I would be running for cover! Scary!

Have a beautiful week sweet friend.

hugs

Ok, now I have goosebumps.
Ya, I think ghosts probably sneeze....I would rather think that than think there was someone behind the shower curtain.

Sorry your house was chilly. I keep thinking it is going to be warm.

Oh goodness Maggie, well, that's an interesting question. I don't know if ghosts sneeze but if they do all the other things I've heard about, I suppose they could sneeze...hah, it'd scare the bee-geebies out of me too.
I hope you are being kind to yourself...

We went from 70 to 30 with the storms that pushed through last night!!

Weird when your all alone and you hear someone call your name, the back door close or a sneeze outta the blue??? I hear things occasionally too, or maybe it's just the voices in my head.

God bless ya sweetie and have a terrific weekend! :o)

Maggie, maybe you should have said: "God Bless You!" I haven't purged closets in a bit..I think the last time I did was after losing a ton of weight..so that tells you how long ago that was! The weather here is wet and wild for sure..it's suppose to go from a ton of rain to snow tomorrow. I'v always wanted to go to Maine. We almost lived there a long time ago, but that's a story for another day. I love ghost stories, so keep me informed on any new sounds!

Maggie, the sneeze thing sounds creepy. Like Kim said, just say God Bless you and that should take care of it. On the other hand... hearing voices ... maybe it's a reaction to your medicine.

My day had hallucinations when some of his medicine didn't agree with him and he was sure the neighbor was out to kill him. He was OK once he was taken off his pills.

Have a warm weekend and stay safe. Hugs. JB

First off, I am totally impressed you felt you had to comb you hair first before blogging. My poor blog buddies get me with bed hair and pillow wrinkles.
This is not the first time with your ghost. I am pretty sure you have one but it seems fairly benign. If you ever get a sighting, please try to get a picture. As for sneezing, we can only hope ghost colds are not catching.

Hey Maggie! I wish it was me that called you the other day! that would have been fun!

So weird about the ghost sneeze!!! That would have totally freaked me out big time!

8 closets down to one!!! That would kill me! Where would I hide all my messes? I am a closet stuffer :) & actually I really need to go through the kid's closets....maybe I should have done that today! Hopefully next week right? :) Probably not :) Our storm is coming Tuesday again so I will think of you staying warm in your 71 while I am am shivering & catching snowflakes :) hope you are having a great weekend Maggie!

Oh Maggie you are so funny. Those sneezes would freak me out. Not one but two......I like the idea of saying Bless You, hah.
Never throw away your comfy clothes. That's all I own.
I would get sleeping pills for that pill of a cat you have.

So...you're haunted by a ghost with allergies! How inconvenient! You're brave to look behind the shower curtain. I have too much of a wild imagination to be brave enough.
Keep the clothes you have. Give Tinkerbell a hug and have a great day!

Oh Maggie....my advice is ...
1. BUY MORE clothes
2. Call a friend...to come over and look under the beds
3. Write more funny posts...we all love to read them!!

Maggie,
You write so well that I imagined myself in your house hearing the sneeze, running outside, running back inside, and hoping I didn't hear the sneeze again with you. Praying peace over you and your house! Please send me your address for you are one of my lucky winners and I would love to send you something my dear! Blessings, Katie
PS~ I think you are friends with my dearest friend, Dulcy.

I take clothes to goodwill all the time then wish I still had them! My biggest regret was selling a carnival glass punch bowl for $3 at a yard sale when I was young and stupid thinking I would never use it!
A sneeze wow. I swear when my boyfriend first passed away that I could smell his cigarette smoke! And he never smoked in the house when he was alive??? So maybe they do sneeze too! lol

Since my weight runs up and down the scale, so does clothes sizes and I cull, too small, and later the other extreme too large. Then I wish I'd kept some as I invariably end up having to buy some more, all of which have to be altered for which I pay to be done. I am under 5" and EVERYTHING has to have sleeves and pants altered. I could make several quilts with the cuts, sometimes as much as 12 inches.

Maggie, you are such a hoot! I don't know how you come up with all this stuff. Real life mixed with a bit of crazy just for fun! :) So sorry to hear that you still aren't 100% after your fall. Egads! I can't believe it's already been almost a year. Where does the time go? God Bless You is always an appropriate response to a sneeze -- even a ghost sneeze. If you do have a ghost, wonder what is keeping it from finding peace? Sending prayers and blessings for your daughter's surgery. Hope you found something warm to wear. Crazy weather indeed! Best wishes, Tammy
