More of Festival Hill in Round Top,Texas!

Never thought Maggie would be loss for words but I am tonight so I thought I would share just a few more pictures of the lovely Festival Hill at Round Top, Texas. The picture above is the back cellar entry to the Church there on the grounds. Hard to capture the beauty of this place.

This is a side view of the picture above. Be sure and enlarge these pictures to enjoy them better.

This is a small room built in the side of the walls that has nothing but seashells all over the walls. This I think is the only picture that took because of being so dark in there. In the middle of this little area there is a table and chairs for playing checkers. lol

Across the grounds going into the Herb Garden I tried to capture a Yellow Butterfly!

Hope you enjoyed some more pictures of my favorite places to meditate! I am so lucky it is only 13 miles from the ole farm house.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the lovely comments and blessings sent from all of you to my brother Gary! I will be sure and let him read all of your comments. Since finding out for sure about his cancer Friday I have not been able to post but will try my best to get back into writing.
I appreciate each of you and thank God every day for you!
Love to all
Maggie

Hey Maggie,
Thanks for stopping by, I always look forward to your comments. Yes, the photo in my header was taken last year on the road to my cottage. Not enough of the leaves have turned color yet this year, but I plan on taken lots of new pics with the new camera next month.

Beautiful pictures!! Such an intersting looking place. Sometimes you need places like this to find a little "soul peace" for meditating when going through life's hard spots. I love quiet places in nature that let me think and just be.....
Sending good wishes for Gary and hugs to you!

One of my favorite places too. How fortunate to have all that beauty so close. I have to wait until we come down to the show to see it and there's never enough time to actually enjoy it...we're always in a rush setting up.
I'm adding y'all to my prayers if it is all right with you. I believe in the power of prayer to help get through difficult times.

Your pictures makes me want to visit. It has such a peaceful look to it and I think we all need that at times. I know you have a lot on your mind right now and everybody needs a little down time or as the doctor says "ME" time to get some energy back. We aren't going anywhere so take your time. Thanks for stopping by for a visit. I did get my car back and it was covered by warranty. Have a great day. MY hear and prayers are being sent to you to help. Your Missouri Friend.

You succeeded! I see the flutterby in all its glory.
Maggie I am hardly one to give advice since I usually don't listen to myself but...
all thoughts we have go out into the universe; positive and negative. So try to have positive thoughts that Gary will come through this with a clean result and he will. Our thoughts bounce back from the universe to earth. Positive ones as Light. Negative ones creating as darkness.
Of course, we must also realize free will abides. I sure feel sad that he and you and your family have to experience this you will be often in my thoughts and petitions. Bless you each and everyone.

I do believe my alternate (or your Ms Pearl) visited me this morning, real early. She started off mouthing and bitching before I got a chance to dose her with coffee. Couldn't get her under control to save my life! That alternate stopped any readers that may have chanced by to not open their mouths. Apparently they don't like griping or maybe it was her use of mild profanity. Whatever, I promise I will hogtie her down next time and stuff a rag in her mouth. She's 'plumb' out of hand anymore.

Hey Maggie,
I really miss you. Hope that therapy goes quickly and does wonders as I am really thinking you need to come to MN for a visit.

So sorry to hear about your brother. We will keep your family in our prayers. That's really tough. You have been through it this year, don't need anything like that on top of it. Send him a big hug from all your blogging buddies.

Wishin' you were here!

Hi Everyone,

For all of you who have been following Maggie's blog, you know her well and know that I am the one who is truly blessed to have had her in my life all these years. My husband loves when I talk to her on the phone because he hears so many good laughs.

BTW, I remember exactly how I gave her the nickname Mighty. I'm 5'9" and she must be about 5 feet even! We look like Mutt & Jeff. I always told her, "You may be little but you're mighty!" There's nothing she can't overcome. She's a true delight in my life. Neither of us has a clue where her nickname for me came from and maybe that's a good thing.

You all are such wonderful support for my dear friend and I thank you for that from the bottom of my heart.

Max
