Emergency Blog Contact

Go to Shell's Bungalow Bing Blog  and pick up this button for your side bar. She wrote a beautiful post the other day about one of her blog friends going MIA in blog land and she is worried about her so she contacted our famous and talented LuLu Kellogg of Coastal Sisters to come up with a Emergency Contact Button.
If you post this button on your sidebar and for some reason you have not posted in weeks and we get offended or worried about you then we can contact your emergency contact.

What a sweetheart you are Shell to come up with this idea and the button LuLu is just beautiful. Perfect for this cause..... two hearts. How LuLu comes up with her creations is beyond me. Here lately I can't make a decision on what toilet paper to purchase.
Shell says, "thought it would be good for us to have an Emergency Contact on our sidebar. Chose and inform ONE blog friend OR an Email Contact under the button that can be reached in an Emergency. Don't forget to email your contact and advise and Post the Button and a link! ~~

Shell mentioned LuLu is under the weather but she still took the time to design this Button. What blog friends do for each other is amazing.
Be sure and read the post that started all this too. It will explain what I am trying to tell you in my post but not doing a very good job of it.

I keep promising you Maggie will be back but I am beginning to wonder that myself.  The doctor does not know what is causing me to be so sick so they are going to do blood work.
Also my heart is breaking in half because my baby brother Gary most likely has Throat Cancer and we will not know for a week or so because he lost his job in April and now they won't do anything until he can get insurance which at the earliest will be Sept 1. His lymph nodes have been swollen really bad for a while now and the doctor in Houston thinks it is cancer but yet sends him home. This doctor is definitely not a blogger.  Sending out those prayers again.
Don't forget to enter my CSN giveaway time is running out!
Love to all
Maggie

Hi Maggie, I have been mia for a few days and this is what I come back to. I keep praying and sometimes ask if he is listening. I wish I was a magic fairy and wave the magic wand so that everything would be better for you and me.
I know stress causes a lot of things to go wrong from experience. I know insurance sucks and if you deal with government insurance it only gets worse. They tell you what meds you can have instead of letting you have your meds tthat you are already on. I will keep thinking of you and your family in my prayers. It just has to get better. Take care. Your Missouri Friend.

What an excellent idea! I've had bloggers I loved go MIA and about tore my hair out. EXCELLENT idea, I must say again. I'm so sorry you still have no answers. And so very sorry also about your brother. Health care in this country makes me want to sit down and cry. And then go shake somebody in charge.

Hi Maggie!
I read Shell's original post, and that LuLu was going to make a button "for the cause". I hadn't been back there this week tho' to find out more. Thanks for the update. I love the button! I'll definitely pop over there and thank her and LuLu for the idea. I had two blog friends who just disappeared and it was frustrating as I wondered if they are/were ok. I managed to get in touch with one, but the other...poof!...gone!
Thanks for more information. Hope you'll get the help you need from the doctor, and I'll be praying for Gary, too. Keep us posted, ok?
Love you,
Donna

Oh Maggie, what can I say. If there were any words to ease your worry and stress, I would be sending them your way. But just words are not good enough. I am a Pagan, but I hope you will accept my healing hopes and Blessings for both you and your brother. You're both in my thoughts.

That is a great idea! At times I've sent emails to people I haven't seen posting or commenting in awhile, but don't want to intrude on their life. This will be good though, my sister is a blogger as well, so she will be my contact. Thanks for sharing this, Maggie!

I will be MIA until Monday or Tuesday. I have to have 4 hours worth of dental work that is going to be done tomorrow. I am so ready to get this mess over with so I can get back to my mischief!

My Mola came and I LOVE it! I think I might frame it but I am not sure yet. Thank you so much for the sweet note you put in my package. I do treasure you so.

Love,

Aw, Maggie, I am so sorry you are still so puny. I do hope that the blood work locates the problem.
I have a friend who is also struggling and recently she found out it was the meds prescribed by her doctor that were making her sick. Damn side effects.
Your brother is in my prayers. It is just awful about the insurance problem. Thought we had fixed that but guess nothing has taken affect yet.
Crap seems to run in cycles but so does the good stuff. Hopefully you are good now for a run of only the good stuff.
Prayers for you both.

That Emergency icon is great idea and will consider it. So sorry to hear about your brother. Cancer has dominated my life this week. An alderman with whom I had serious disagreements has cancer; I can't feel animosity toward anyone suffering from that disease as I have had it myself. Although nearly 15 years survival, it is always there in my opinion. That care and prayers for you and all with illness and medical problems.

Maggie, i am so sorry that you're having health issues and i am just sick to hear about your little brother.
the doctor refusing to treat your brother until his insurance is in affect makes me want to spit.
i'm praying for you to feel better and that the blood tests tell you what is making you not feel well.
and i'm praying that your brother feel the peace that only God understands - and that September 1st get here quickly.

people are praying for you as am I.
all will be well,
Jan
