Discombobulated Part II

Hello everyone hope you had a great weekend. Wanted to continue from my last post about being Discombobulated!
Remember my friend Alan told me He was so discombobulated he did not know what to do. Well I had no idea at the time what he was talking about and the first thing that came to my mind was he saying he is constipated. lol...Lord knows I had never heard this word and why I associated comstipation with it I have no clue. Do you do that too?
Ended up after listening to the nut he was telling me that his life was upside down since his son had moved back home with a lot of his things and a dog the size of a pony that lives inside. lol
Alan's home is a small older house built in the 1800's. No closets and accomadations for a oversized dog or anyone besides himself.
Well then after I realized what he was saying I told him I too was discombobulated because the owner of the ranch I live on rented out the guest house and moved some of her pieces into my home. I showed you the antique twin beds and how big they are in my last post. These beds now take up my sitting room I had in my bedroom. So to make room for them I moved my wicker into the front room where my round antique dining room table sits.
I had them put the Round Antique Table in the corner by the fireplace. I think it looks out of place since it was in the middle of this side of the living room.
Some of my wicker they put upstairs where I am going to try and have my bedroom by winter time.

On the other side of the room they moved out my chairs that matched my sofa and put her pink chaise and green striped chair. Along with a pink ottoman.
Doesn't really match my sofa so I may have to do some more changes...lol
Love this comfy chair of hers with green stripes..it matches my walls really well.
This is looking at the other end of the room from where my wicker sits.
After much moving around by my brothers and friends I had to put some of the larger pieces in the barn.

See how crowded everything is now. Please do not enlarge pictures and see all the dust and cobwebs...lol
Here is Tinkerbell trying to sharpen her paws on my table. Poor baby does not know there are none there to sharpen. This table and another one is her favorite place to scratch away.

So now you can see why I am Discombobulated like Alan. Too much in one room...if I could ever get well I could maybe get the upstairs cleared out and make a bedroom and sitting room there. That would help a little with this room.

I am still hurting a lot but go back to College Station to see doctors on Tuesday and September 8th.

My computer must be discombobulated too because it took me two hours to load these pictures where it usually would only take make 15 minutes. Jeezzzz Marie!!!!

Oh I can not wait to do a post about the young lady that now occupys the guest house. She is a screen writer hiding out here to write for a year.  We got to spend some time today together and I found her to be a very sweet adorable young lady. Looking forward to reading some of her work and maybe she can get me back into writing my book.

Love to all
Maggie

Discombobulation can lead to constipation and vise versa. Honest.
I think your place looks great but then I can't really judge distance between items.
Glad you have such an interesting house guest and hopefully she will get you going on your own book. You can use eachother as sounding boards.
Cats can not resist wicker.

What a charming home... What a big cat... What a great place to grab and book, curl up and read! We'll call it cozy and when you're feeling better I'm sure you'll come up with new arrangements. It's great to have family and friends to help move things around. My youngest gets hoodwinked into moving everyone that we found a t-shirt that says: "Big Ape Moving Company" for him to wear..maybe I should send him your way???

I can see why you'd be more than a little discombobulated. That's quite a lot for a landlord to ask...but that's just my opinion. Perhaps she should consider renting a PODS unit to store her stuff instead of imposing on your good, kind nature. (You know I'm not talking about Miss Pearl, right?) If I had to have all of someone else's things moved in with mine, I might be a Miss Pearl, too.
Hope you have a good week.
xoxo

Good Morning Maggie Sweetie...
Do you actually know any woman that is not discombobulated? I think it runs through our veins or something.

Don't feel bad sweetie. We are all over crowded to some extent in one room or another. I say the solution to making the furniture match is pull out a few of those quilts of yours and cover them up.

I am still storming the heavens for you sweet friend. You are going to get better soon. How is the deal coming along with working part time? Did the Captn agree to it yet? I am still working on him in prayer.

Keep us posted with your next check up sweetie. Keep your chin up, I know that old North 40 is calling ya. Yup ya have to get perky soon.

Love ya girl. Have a great day today. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Part of feeling discombobulated is the newness of this arrangement, but if it continues to bother you, get those brothers over again to help you do some more rearranging.

In the meantime, it sounds like you have inherited an interesting new neighbor with the furniture. Might just turn out to be a good deal!

=)

So . . . she's hiding out and you're going to write about her, Maggie? LOL! If nothing else, you will both have someone interesting to talk to {especially once Winter hits}. You're right about the furniture, but I guess there is no other place to put it. I'm sure if you can get some of it upstairs or in another area of the house, that could handle a few more pieces of furniture, you'll be good. Plus, you get so used to how a room looks that once you add or take away, it can put us on edge. Maybe once you get used to how it looks, you'll be combobulated again {is that the opposite of discombobulated?}. Also, in the event it does have something to do with constipation, I would get some Philips Milk of Magnesia to keep on hand in the house. ; )

I can't really tell by the pictures how close together each piece of furniture is but I can see some pieces that I would be happy to take off your hands if they are in your way. :) Beautiful furniture sweet Maggie. Sounds like you may have some very good visits with the new renter. She is a lucky lady to be living near you. Hope all that pain goes away soon, it has hung around way too long. Hugs

Maggie that is what I hope my place might look like someday, lol! I have stuff on stuff surrounded by stuff! When your brothers are finished helping you rearrange "stuff" please send them right up here to upstate New York, I'll be waiting at the door!
Love ya...Tina xo

Yep, that discombobulation must be in the air! I on the other hand have used the word frequently throughout my long life.

I'm sure once ya heal up and get to feelin' better you can make room for the extras you were blessed(forced to receive and cram into your home)with. It can just be so stressful when things are crowed into a small space.

Even crammed to the max, your place is simply beautiful.

God bless ya and have a marvelous Monday. 'Still prayin' for ya my sweet friend!!!!

Hi Maggie,

Such a great word and one I use sometimes.
Your place is beautiful and you have so much lovely furniture - hope that you can get it to your liking. I will be thinking of you on the 8th - sorry to hear that you are still hurting.
Your neighbour sounds very interesting.

Have a happy week

Love the pictures! Your house is so dang cute.
Glad you're only discombobulated and not constipated. That isn't fun......just ask those that come to the ER for it.

I think you are going to have a blast with your neighbor!

Hi Maggie, I love your home and I know it seems like it has to much furniture at the moment. Maybe after the doctor visit and hopefully a really really good report, you will feel so much better and you won't care about the extra furniture. From reading your comments I think you could very easily find some people to take some off your hand. Your green striped chair looks awfully comfy. The kind you can curl up in. Have a great day my friend and I say an extra prayer for you tonight. Your Missouri Friend.
