BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS WITH A GIVEAWAY!

Ms. Ruby's Chocolates

The Best Little Piece
of Chocolate
in TEXAS

Ok ladies it's that time again for a chocolate lovers giveaway! As many of you know at one time in my life I had a little chocolate business named Ms. Ruby's after my precious grandmother. To me she was my MaMa, to my children Little MaMa and to a lot of friends and relatives she was Ms. Ruby!

Ms. Ruby's birthday was February 9th and she would of been a 104 years old!
I so wanted to do a post about her for her birthday but put it off so I will add it to my post list for the future.

Also celebrating a birthday this month is my only grandson Bailey who turns 6 today. Isn't he a cutie posing for us. Last but not least his proud father and my darling son , Clint also has a birthday this next week too.
So sweet dear friends lets celebrate their birthdays with a Chocolate Giveaway!
The lucky winner must have  left me a comment on this post and is a follower by midnight central standard time  March 4, 2010!
Also please let me know if you prefer Homemade Milk Chocolate Fudge or the famous White Chocolate Peanut Clusters or the Milk Chocolate Peanut Clusters

In case your wondering the picture above was used on my packaging of the candy and yes it is me a few pounds heavier then! hahaha

As always your comments on the previous post has left me once again so thankful that I started a blog and have you all as such sweet dear friends. If it were not for you this ole gal would be really lost this week.....but after Wednesday's sonagram I will be doing another post to let you all know that the results were just fine....just have to be!

Sweet Dreams
Maggie

Talking about your grandmother made me think of mine who has been gone a really long time. She always made me feel special and loved. I bet that your little Bailey gets that from you too. What a sweet sweet lady you are Maggie ! It's amazing how sometimes there is a fine line that runs people you meet together :) My sister's birthday is February 9th also and she had her daughter 16 years ago on February 10th. Now we seem to celebrate them both one flowing into the other. Congrats on your grandson Bailey's birthday today and Happy Birthday wishes for Clint's approaching birthday too. Gosh February seems to be the birthday month, I know so many people that have birthdays this month. My friend Amy Flowe who is a talented artist is celebrating her twins 1st birthday on the 28th of February. And as it happens that is the day that would have been my Dad's birthday...he now celebrates it in heaven. YOUR grandson sure is a handsome little fellow, I bet you all have some awesome celebrating plans made. I hope it is a fun FUN day for all of you.

Many many years ago when my Mom moved from Waco Texas to the big city of Fort Worth her first job was working in a candy shop, I can remember her telling stories of how great the candy was. She later in life went to work at Pangburn's candy company. Do you remember Pangburn's Millionaires ?? I think I read somewhere they were bought out by Kraft??
Anyway, I bet your Grandmama's chocolates were
delicious and delightful :) What a interesting image of you - tooooo sweet !!
I love chocolate with nuts......

Hello Maggie!
I'm so happy to hear everything is fine with the sonogram...you must be soooo relieved. It's one thing when it is happening to you, but when it is happening to your child you feel so helpless. So I am glad it's all good:)
I don't know if you saw I left you a special award on my blog for you because YOU are bee-utiful on the inside(Miss Ruby)and out(Maggie and oh ok Ms. Pearl)he he. Thank you again so much for you kind words, friendship and support helping us raise awareness for Heart Disease. You are spectacular!!
Now, getting down to business. Do you know how much I LOVE CHOCOLATE?? More than pink, and oh girl that's a whole lot. Any chocolate is good chocolate and I sure Miss Ruby's is the best so sign me up!!! Yummmieeee!!!
Thanks for sharing Susan's story. I feel like she and I are cut from the same cloth. I too feel like I must create. If my hands aren't busy doing it, then my mind is busy thinking of it. I too got the gift from my dad, who got it from his mom...and knows who before that. So good for her for keeping her passion alive! If you don't if you don't feed your fire that old flame will go out...Now we don't want that happening do we??
I hope you are having a fantastic weekend and you give that adorable grandson of yours a great big belated birthday hug from me!!
XoXo
Gail
