FIRST TEMPTATION MONDAYS IN OUR NEW YEAR

Welcome back everyone to Temptation Mondays post.....If you have been here before just skip the introduction and start shopping....lol
Temptation Mondays is about our fellow bloggers who are artist and craftsman that have been kind enough to let me share their beautiful pieces with all of you.
Please remember when browsing through this post to click on their sites because I only have one or two pictures of their pieces and there is lots to see on their sites.
Also when you visit them maybe give them a great big Howdy from Grandmayellowhair aka Pearl.....

If you would like to have your pieces displayed on here all I ask is to email me please at grandmayellowhair@gmail.com.....just send me a link to your place and a picture of what you want to sell. Really easy and lots of fun for everyone.

Just wanted to thank all of you for asking about my recovery... I am slowly recovering from the silly accident before Christmas......My eyes are no longer black and blue....my nose is still bothering me but only when I breath....lol....My ribs are my biggest ache right now but time will heal those.
Your caring, funny and lovely comments helped me more than anything else that I tried. When I was feeling down or like a complete idiot I would just click on your comments and laugh.
As most of you know I have been working at the Sheriffs Dept. during the New Years Holidays and boy were we busier than a one armed bandit.  Maybe in the next few days I can write a post about a couple of crazy incidents. I promise no poop this time around.

Also I don't know about you guys but I am going to miss all the pretty decorated blogs for the holidays. Which reminds me I still have outside lights to take down and my trees inside. Jeez Marie I know what I will be doing these next two days off.....that is if I go back to the Sheriffs Office....
Hope you enjoy another picture of my friend Mary Ellen Shipness at the top of this post. She was so gifted and I enjoy displaying her art but please it is copyrighted.....

I wish all of you Sweet Dreams

Hi Maggie. I must not have come across your blog until after your accident. I didn't realize you had one. I'm glad to hear your doing better though. Just be sure to take care of yourself and not push to much.

Thanks again for visiting me and leaving the sweet comments. You know how wonderful it is to hear from our blog friends. It always means alot and some days it means everything!

Thanks for showing so many pretties today.

Hugs...Tracy :)

Oh Maggie sweetie...
I wondered about your over New Year's Eve, as to how you were getting along. I can't wait to hear the stories. I so love to read them when you write. You have a God given talent to write Maggie, truly you do.

Back to work tomorrow for me. Actually this is my short week, so I will be off on Friday, thank goodness. Last week was so hectic, and I was just exhausted by the time the weekend rolled around.

Here's to a beautiful week for us both. Enjoy your days off sweetie, and remember to be kind to yourself. Do something special for you.

Country hugs and so much love...Sherry

Oh my, you must have gotten bunged up while I was in Florida. I will have to check back posts. So glad you seem to be doing better.
Lovely offerings but I am totally tapped out from the trip. I will check out the sites though.
Looking forward to your holiday experiences at the Sheriffs Dept. Somehow holidays don't bring out the best in some people.
Take care and be totally healed soon.

My followers list might have been 'hiding', but it should be on the left under my profile... That goofy blogger, it acts up from time to time... :P
I must come back soon to checkout your blog! I love what I see so far! But for now, it's off to bed for this stuffy head... Let's hope some Nyquil will take care of the rest! Ta-ta!

I've always dreamed of having a work of art framed with bubble glass!!! They're so treasured!!

And to answer your question...I'm not anywhere near Freeport...closer to Victoria, but still quite a distance from there too. I live in Corpus. :o)

Maggie, about the embellishments book on my blog...I don't think it's currently being published. I bought it on Amazon - used. Good luck finding it! If you can't, there's an article by Beryl Taylor in the recent Cloth, Paper, Scissors magazine with some good photos of an altered art quilt she made. That was my intro to her work. After seeing that I knew I had to buy the book!

Hi Maggie,
Thanks for your sweet comment. Libbie and I both appreciate it. I have been MIA lately, can't wait to get back to normal, and I too, will miss all the pretty decorations for Christmas. Have to come up with some good ones for Valentine's Day.

So glad you now have a camera. It has been so much fun to see your sweet house. Love your pink dining room. I could have a fun time peeking at all your fun decorations! So wonderful! Glad you are on the mend. Those ribs can be painful!
