Fat Cat!

Boy does my Mom need to slow down with the mowing and clean these windows!
Boring day today since she has so much to do outside. I could show you my new trick that I don't think she has found out about yet.

She doesn't know that I have learned  how to lift up the lid on this box.

You see this box holds what I dream about night and day.

If she would feed me more than twice a day I wouldn't have to do these horrible things. Who can blame me though I am starving to death and she doesn't care so now when she is not around I can feed myself.

This is what I found when I came into the house today for my lunch break. It seems Tinkerbell could not wait for her food to be set out for her.

What a little Piggy or should I say Fat Cat!

Love to all
Maggie

Leave it to a cat to figure it out.

Very cute post, Maggie. I love when animals talk. Ah, and their ability to solve problems!

I read somewhere to put food down for dogs twice a day but leave a cat's food out all the time and they only eat when they are hungry, won't overeat. Now I know that was total nonsense on that writer's part. Your cat is beautiful...and fat. I can see she is not a finicky nibbler.

As for your windows, they look clean compared to mine I can barely see through. Maybe a new doctor I will see next week will give me some relief...just in time for spring cleaning! I fear the mowing is going to do you in one day.

Some people have a Smart Phones and you have a Smart Cat.

You can go away and she won't starve. That's good to know. I'm keeping Clint in my prayers. I hope that everything will be alright. Hugs. JB

Hi Maggie, Our cat at work is just like yours fat and has a way of finding his food wherever you put it. I enjoyed reading your previous post and I will try to get back on schedule whatever that is of visiting my friends. I have been a little busy. Hope all is well with your Hugs Your Missouri Friend.

At least we know her plus size is self inflicted. When I saw how she played with that toy lying down, I thought it was just lack of exercise. Now we know.
My windows are the direct result of nose prints by my two cats. I can't keep up.
Cute post.

Maggie this may be the biggest cat I have ever laid eyes on.
Hey we know everything is bigger in Texas but Wow.
Slow down on the mowing you have all summer yet to go.
Let us know when you hear the results of Clint's test.
Always
Tam

There's a cat that knows what she wants and how to get it. Doesn't really look like she actually needs the extra feedings, though!

I love that FAT CAT!!!!
Completely brilliant creature!

Hi Maggie,

Tinkerbelle is quite a gal!!
She knows what she wants and she wants it all the time!!
Ha ha ha!
My Daisy is quite a little scamperoonie too! She loves to eat and lets you know when she wants to be fed...she runs around causing trouble till I feed her!!
She does not like dry food but she will eat it when we are not looking!! Lol

Love and Blessings and prayers for Clint!!

HA-HA! Smart cat. Jingles has been known to jump on our wardrobes and lift lids on storage boxes. We would look and look and look for her only to find out after searching far and wide that she was snuggled down in the box fast asleep. :) Have a wonderful weekend. Tammy

We leave our crazy cat's food out and just keep the bowl filled. She doesn't over eat but does throw up on a regular basis. I guess that makes her a bulimic cat... She's gotten very lazy and doesn't kill mice or anything outside anymore. She does enjoy hanging out on the deck and teasing Eddy the boxer. I was very sad when I heard cats can live to age 20 or older. Are you kidding me?

What a fun post!! That is one smart cat you have. Tinkerbell figured it all out. You're going to have to put her on a diet, or maybe not as she is so cute and round. Plus she would hate that. She might live longer though. I love cats and all animals, for that matter, but I am so allergic to them that I just have to enjoy them from a distance. Darn!!

For sure she is a fat cat !! Mary's Amber would do the very same thing but the lid is to tightly on !!! He can though get through doors that are firmly closed against him..by climbing and swinging on the handle !!
Much LOve Sybil xxx

How funny your FAT CAT has nothing on the 4-legged thief of a dog I have that steals loaves of bread and consumes the entire package including some of the plastic. She once at afrozen meatloaf I had set out to defrost. Then she ate a whole bag of diet Russell Stover chocolate covered caramel balls. Thank GOD there wasn't enough chocolate to kill her.

well my dear, I always use to say growing up; if no one else will take care of me, I'll take care of myself...so you definitley are taking care of yourself! Good for you for being so self-reliant....
