Stuffed Peppers!

Boy am I going to miss Christi when she moves back to Austin next month. Tonight she is fixing Stuffed Peppers from her new Recipe Book!
At this minute while I am visiting with you she is working really hard in my tiny farm kitchen. Wish I could put into words how yummy this smells.
Of course she was saying NO Pictures Momma!

It is a challenge cooking in this little space but she makes things happen.

Since she was sweet enough to cook tonight I will try to get the kitchen back to this after dinner!

We both have been suffering from some kind of stomach virus going around. She was feeling a lot better so wanted to try this. I am sitting here hoping I can enjoy her hard work. If not I will have it for lunch tomorrow. Wish you were here to enjoy this with us.

Blogger is still driving me crazy! I have been going to sites and when I leave my comment half the time it says Service Error 593 or something like it.

One site I did get to visit today was  Dan at Yesterday Once More! If you can go by and read his post.
He is giving us a sneak peek of  A Primitive Place & Country Journal magazine the fall 2011 issue.
Serveral of the articles in this amazing magazine are written by our friend Dan.

You can even order your copy over at Dan's. I can't wait to get a copy!
Well I am out of here for the night.....the peppers are smelling really yummy!

Hope you have a wonderful evening.

Love to all
Maggie

I just saw your mirror reflection it makes me so wish I were there to chat away with you.

You have the most wonderful & colorful kitchen, Maggie. I love it. The antiques, the red touches ... & all that lovely Jadeite.

We slipped away for 8 days ... I'll still get that call to you.

Oh, yum! That dinner looks deelish.

Last week I could hardly comment on anyones blog. Sometimes 503 just needs to be refreshed.

Miss you sugar.
Hugs & love,

It makes me hungry... sorry you are feeling a little under the weather.

I am also having a terrible time leaving comments. Especially on the full page comments. I end up having to sign as anonymous!

I have finally learned to copy my comment before trying to post it!

LOL, You did leave a comment the first time, but on my other blog. I am not too sure what I'm doing with the new one yet. 0)

I have the pop up box. I think the problem is just with the full page comments. But not sure. I don't know the problem is with me or the blog's I am reading.

Hi Maggie, I have had problems, but I find that I leave the leave me signed in not checked. It helped me. Your stuff peppers sound so yummy and you will miss your daughter when she moves and the house goes back to just you and Tinkerbelle. It is nice to have someone to talk with when things are going wrong. Someone just to listen to you let off steam. I hope you are feeling better. Take care. Your Missouri Friend.

Stuffed peppers are a fav around here too..I'd like them more if I had a sweet daughter to make them for me. Since I don't I guess I'm stuck with me making them for me! I love your little kitchen!

Aw, hope both your tummies settle down and you enjoyed those stuffed peppers.
Think you ought to work on getting Christi to stay.

Hope that you are all better by now and were able to enjoy the stuffed peppers. Your kitchen doesn't look took small to me. Sure don't need a big space to make fabulous food. Take care and best wishes, Tammy

Send some stuffed peppers my way. No one but myself likes them, suffice to say I never have them.

Who could not like stuffed peppers?

It has been some time since I talked with you. Hope all is well.

Love this. I'm all about eating right these days and I'm keeping my 42 pounds OFF if it kills me.

Good food doesn't have to be smothered in cheese and bacon fat! LOVE IT!

LOVE YOUR KITCHEN, too!

We have been without internet since last Friday night! It's all fixed now though! We had a bad storm and lightning ran into our house through the phone line and fried our modem, DSL and our phone! We don't realize how much we depend on these things until we loose them!!

I can almost smell this through the puter screen!!

Love,
LuLu~*xoxo

Hi again Maggie. I love stuffed peppers in any colors and would love to be there to eat some with you and Christie.

It's so nice having someone cooking for you. Your little pot garden is so practical. No need to weed like me.

Dan has some awesome primitive house. Everything looks picture perfect.

I'm glad that you had a great time at the movie and laughed a lot. Thanks for your sweet comment about my little grandson. I'll get to hold him in August when he comes for a visit.

I've been so darn busy every day that I get to bed so late and I'm not sleeping well because of my bad shoulder. I wake up with both hands numb. I need physiotherapy and have an appointment with my doctor on the 26th.

I'm off weeding again. Hugs. JB

Hi Maggie!
I know it seems FOREVER since you have heard from me, but I have been reading what you have been up too. I am not able to leave comments anywhere lately it seems. Kind of like you. Total bummer.

Hope that nasty virus is gone and hope that the pain has eased up some. Nothing exciting happening around here. If anything does happen, Lib will keep you posted, she has a camera, I still don't. Bummer... My girl did graduate though. That took a ton of time. No one warned me...

Enjoy the weekend!
Kate

Hi Maggie, how special you make me feel to comment twice on my post.

I was dead tired and running behind blog hop ( you know the feeling) and I totally forget that you were sick with the summer flu as I had read two of your posts in one sitting and my brain was too little to take it all in, lol.

I sure hope that you are feeling well by now and that you got to sample the stuff red peppers that Christie so lovingly prepared for you.

I love your cosy little kitchen and antique display case with all the vintage ladies busts, your flamingo cookie jar and that crazy grass skirted flamingo hanging on the wall.

I hope that your work week will go smoothly and that you don't get some bad experiences this week.

Take care. Hugs to you and Christie. JB

Maggie, you poor thing. Sorry to hear that you woke up still sick this morning. Whatever got a hold of you must be a powerful virus. Make sure that you don't get dehydrated especially in this heat. I'm glad that your doctor is going to see you. I'm sending some healing vibes your way. Hugs. JB

I'm going to try one more time to comment ~ :-) I love stuffed peppers and Christi's work area looks like awesome. Hope you were able to enjoy them!

My kitchen is sooooo tiny ~ I do understand trying to cook in such a space.
