Home Sweet Home!

Oh boy do I miss being at home during the day! I just told Christi there is no time now for blogging, writing, reading and visiting with Gretchen. Maybe when I get back into the routine of it all I can find time for all the things I like doing but right now I feel left out.

This is an old picture of the ole farm house I live in. Now I have flowers blooming in pots so one day soon I will take a new picture. I did pick my first tomato from my pot garden. Last night Christi and I tore off some lettuce leaves from my pot of lettuce and made us a great salad to go along with her spaghetti she made us for supper. I tell you I could get spoiled having someone cook for me. lol

Last night about 9PM I heard screaming and I walked out my back door and Gretchen was chasing off Bill. Gosh I wish you could of seen her running after him. Bill is the armadillo that has been coming around for a while now and when she first met him it was a friendly relationship. Then it turned sour when he got into her wild flower garden that she planted on the side of her house. Now she wants to Kill Bill because he dug up her okra. When it comes to okra don't mess with Gretchen. The girl loves okra any shape or form. So for the first time ever she planted some okra and was so excited watching it grow. Now all she has in mind is killing Bill.

Gretchen has been ask to act again. When I met her she had swore acting off  and she came out here to hide out and write but they are after her for a part in some movie. Guess we will see what she is going to do.  Christi and I bought a fake snake tonight at the dollar store and it gets bigger when you put it in water. So this weekend Gretchen has to be away for the day to talk about this movie so my bad daughter and I are going to slip over to her house and put it in her commode. By the time she gets back home it should be double the size and it is already big. lol.....

I know that is mean of us but you have to understand before Christi came here last week Gretchen was always trying to scare me one way or the other so they say pay backs are hell. Only thing is she want forget this will she?

Monday morning when I woke up to go to therapy and then work I was bent over from the pain in my back. This happened about a month ago and I had to go to the emergency room. Well I managed to get to therapy and they let me go since they knew I could not do anything. Then I drive over 25 miles to work and thought for sure they would tell me to go home but nope I had to work bent over and in pain. Honestly the way they were looking at me I think they thought I was faking it. Who in their right mind would fake bending over walking.

Today I was better but still in pain. Hopefully I can make it the rest of the week. I have not heard from my attorney about anything so I guess I need to touch base with her and see what her plans are for me.

The boy that murdered his whole family was put on lock down because he threatened one of our night officers. He told him that he had already killed 5 people one more would not make a difference. Can you imagine telling a Officer that and shows he absolutely has no remorse. What blows my mind is how long it is taking for his trial. He has already been in there way over a year. Nonsense don't you think.

The cell they want me to lay down in on breaks is in isolation next to him. I guess he and I could talk between the walls. Creepy!!!

Well I mainly got on here tonight to check on you and to say hello. Be glad when I get use to all these changes going on right now and I have more time to visit.

Remember I am thinking of you and praying you are doing good.

Sweet Dreams

Maggie

Your house is adorable! I laughed at "kill Bill"...I was just talking about that movie with one of our Docs during surgery today..it's her favorite and she had to tell me every part because I've never seen it. Now that I know what it's about, I still won't ever see it. Hope your back will make it through this week..I'll keep saying those prayers for you!

Goodness Mags! I've been missing a lot of news while I was away. Glad to hear you have an attorney on the job. Looking forward to catching up, my friend.

Hi Maggie, I tell you, there is never a dull moment in your life. Back pain really can wear you down. I pray that you will be pain free. Poor Bill! Obviously he likes okra too! HA! I don't understand the justice system at times. A big waste of time and money and justice is not always served. God bless you and the work you do! Tammy

I hope that attorney can get you a better break on all of this, Maggie. My mom and I were talking about it on the phone the other night, and both of us are so irritated that you are having to work when you are still in so much pain.

Just doesn't seem right.

Oooh, you naughty Maggie! ; ) I'm sure you will hear quite the scream coming from Gretchen's when she sees that fake snake. I'm glad you are getting to spend time with your daughter even if she is staying with you because of that horribe incident. I think it will probably be good for both of you for a little while.

Dang Maggie, that's the darn near cutest house I've ever seen. I just love it! I had to laugh reading your post. It all reminds me of country music. Gretchen makes me think of Gretchen Wilson and her awesome music, the killing bill part makes me think of The Dixie Chicks song about killing Earl. And if you weren't in so much darn pain I think the two of you would make a great Thelma and Louise type movie. Oh and I can't forget that every time you talk about work I think of my favorite old country/western song "You never even call me by my name" by David Allen Cole. Do you remember that one. Here's a verse....
Well, I was drunk the day my momma got out of prison,
And I went to pick her up in the rain.
But before I could get to the station in the pick-up truck,
She got runned over by a damned old train.
Ha-ha, the prison line always makes me think of you now.

Anyway, I've taken up way too much time and too much space. Hope you're feeling better every day and I'm saying a prayer Sweetie!
Love and hugs...Tracy :)

I sent you a private email but I wanted to touch base here too! Thank you so much for your contribution to the blogging community. I can so relate with so much you say and there is always a chuckle to be had here! I pray your lawyer can help you with this situation so you can be home to take better care of yourself! Kind regards, Carolyn

You need to ride that attorney like a lazy horse. Bring out the spurs.
So sorry your back is no better. Dang girl.
What a lovely bunch you socialize with at the jail and even get to bunk next to--Yikes.
Careful with the snake. Once when I was a teen, I caused a heart attack, thank God not fatal, with a snake and a really scared person so practical jokes are no longer practical for me.

Your little house is just so very charmin' both inside and out!!! (I remember the inside pictures you've posted)

I just hate it that they want you to 'relax' your back next to murders and the like. Not the kinda friends ya want to rub elbows with!

I was hopin' your attorney was pushin' forth faster that this for ya. You take care sweetie, you are important to us.

God bless and may your day be pain free. :o)

What a cute little house. You did so well telling about Gretchen chasing Bill that I felt I was there watching the whole thing. I am surprised that Bill is still alive to run after eating her okra plants. The snake idea sounds like fun but I would watch my back if I were you after Gretchen comes home and finds it. lol

I still cannot believe they are making you work all bent over and in such pain...just nothing but crazy!!

I agree sweet Maggie that is creepy them wanting you to lie in the cell next to a guy who has murdered all those people. They are just not treating you right at all!!

Still praying for you and hoping every time I come to your blog that I find wonderful news that you and your family are all well and doing great. Hugs sweet Maggie

The house is just adorable.
I just cannot understand the way you are being treated at work, and by the medical profession.

I hope the attorney can do something to resolve his nightmarish situation.

I hope that you stay on your lawyer and she will get you some help.
I would die if I saw a snake period.
Prayers that things will work out for you dear friend.

Oh Maggie, you are a gal after my own heart...I love playing tricks on people and putting that fake growing snake in Gretchen's commode is absolutely perfect! hehe

I love your little house and you even have a white picket fence! Beautiful!! No doubt you are enjoying have Christi around for company and if she cooks for you, then that's an added bonus for sure. Nothing worse than being alone and cooking just for one...no fun in that.

I'm still aghast that you're being forced to work when your back obviously isn't better. Hopefully your lawyer is working on a solution.

It's terrible how it takes so long before trials take place. There was a murder here on our street 4 years ago and the boy who did it has just finally had his trial in February of this year! It kept getting pushed back, much to the frustration of the victim's family.

I've just helped bring out my old fridge and stove out of the house and I think I may be walking bent over like you by tonight! lol Much love to you!! xoxo

Oh Maggie, you may be in pain but you didn't changed a bit. you are up to scaring that poor Gretchen with that fake snake. Doesn't she read your blog??? Maybe you need to get back to being naughty to feel better again.

I'm so glad that your daughter is with you again, and is cooking you dinner. I hope that you enjoy your time together. I love your house and I would love to see your vegetables growing in containers.

I'm hoping that the lawyer is doing some work on your behalf. I know that they work slowly and ours charged us every phone calls we made at $25, each. Ridiculous. Good luck Maggie. Please don't sleep next to a killer. There are so many bad vibes, you don't need that. Hugs, JB

boy what is wrong with attornys down there?? they seem to just want to play the system. I sure hope yours can come up with better advice/news for you. I hope you are writing down all the things the idiot doctor told you and the time frame they are making you work when you are barely able to stand up. and, sorry to say, I LOVE reading your blog, so sorry you hurt, but your stories about working there are so colorful. LOVE YOU I can feel your pain, but also feel your joy with live (enjoy Christi while she is there-- you two are scamps for trying to scare Gretchen!!)

A couple of weeks ago a "patient" at the hospital where hubby works was picked up by a female deputy to have his day in front of the judge many miles away. He managed to take her gun away and kill her with it, then took off in the car for Arkansas. They caught him. Damned fools.

Oh I am so glad I visited you today. You made me laugh with your Bill story. I have never seen such an animal except at the Zoo. We have bears and cougars here so I try not to venture too far from home. I can't imagine taking a nap next to a mass murderer. He must be a socipath to have no remorse. Have a nice weekend and take care.

My husband is the block BILL KILLER. He uses an awesome gun.... However at is age his hands shake badly, so when the gun comes out of hiding, Luckie and I head for the HideyHole concrete storm cellar.

I don't think I could rest in a cell or even a room next to a mass murderer, but my fear might mask my pain!

Your house is pink and yellow with a porch and a picket fence? I LOVE it! An armadillo named Bill...awesome!
I am so sorry about the pain in your back! I can't imagine anyone thinking you would be faking the pain and the bending over walking! Stupid people! I wonder what kind of chit chat you would have with the boy who killed his family. That gives me the chills!

I hope you let us know how much Gretchen loves the snake in her toilet! That ALSO gives me chills! :)

Take care, Maggie! I hope you get better soon.
