Just Complaining About This and That!

Just wanted to say hello before my trip to Maine begins on Saturday. I am leaving some time tomorrow for Austin since Christi and I fly out of there at 6am Saturday morning.

I had wanted to share with you some pictures of what I have been doing to the ole farm house but I once again I don't see the picture download button I use for adding pictures to my post. The Link button that sits besides the picture button is there so why not the picture button.

I guess I am going to have to figure out how to switch over to the new blogger their offering. I just have not had the time to try and figure it out and with my computer acting up I don't think I can try it for now. I sure have to do it though when I get home from Maine because I hope to have some gorgeous pictures to share with you.

It beats me why that darn picture button is gone from the top of my page. I sure wanted to show you some pictures tonight. lol I don't even know who to complain to at blogger or where to complain. Or would they even care that grandmayellowhair can't down load pictures.  lol

The past few weeks I have had a crown fall off of a tooth while eating breakfast. Then remember last year when I was toothless and haggard because I lost one near the front. Well now the one that holds the bridge to that tooth needs a root canal and it has been giving me all kinds of fits. I made an appointment to my dentist for it and the next morning after setting that appointment I lost a crown on a back tooth. So the dentist worked on the crown replacement and put off my root canal until I get back from my trip.

Since it is going to cost me big bucks I guess I am glad she waited but if I am going to be in pain for the trip I may have another thought. lol

Then my renter in my home in town moved out leaving me the biggest mess. Fifthy dirty is all I can say about her. I do wish people would have the decency to leave a home the way they find it. She had the nerve to tell me the house was cleaner than when she moved in. Geez where do I find these loosers.

Her kids colored on my newly painted walls and kitchen cabinets so as you can well imagine Ms Pearl has been out for a while now.

While painting the sun room floor that her kids colored on I have messed up my back so now I am bent over like an old willow tree. I may only see half of Maine if my back does not get better.

I wonder why it is when your planning something big that you have wanted to do most of your life that
all kinds of crazy things start happening in your life. lol...

Anyway since I can't share the pic's I wanted I guess I will make this short and sweet. I was sitting here
trying to figure out if there is another way to add pictures to our blogs besides using their buttons. I know
you would think as long as I have been doing this I could figure it out.

I am just use to coming in here and having everything the way it is suppose to be when I need it. Boy what a boring post I am sitting here writing.

My son Chad told me in an email today that he thought we would have a lot of rain on our trip to Maine because of the hurricane out in the Atlantic. I sure hope that thing fizzles out so we can enjoy our trip.

OK enough of my complaining. I need to figure out what jewelry to pack and then I need to try and catch up with some of you on here before bed time. I just hope my computer lets me come by and say hello to you.

Have a wonderful weekend. Be safe and remember I love you.

Sweet Dreams
Maggie

Have a safe trip to Maine! You are such a traveler.

Sorry about the renter. That is so trashy of people.
We have an apartment that we rent out and it is so frustrating to clean up after supposedly adult people.

I'm still jealous that you'll be in Maine and I'm not, but I really want you to have a great time. I hate teeth problems and I do hope it doesn't bother you on the trip. Your back is something my hubby could take care of but you'd have to make a pit stop here in Ohio! Take lots of pics so I know what to see when I get the chance to go...Have a safe and fun trip!

I've been away from blogging much too long but I'm back now:-) I've so missed all of you! Yes, even Ms Pearl! lol

Awww what a shame you're having back and tooth problems, neither of them are any fun at all:-( I do hope and pray that you won't suffer too much while on your vacation.

As for your ex-renter, that's just horrible that she left the place in such a mess. I could never do that!!

Have fun in Maine:-) xoxo

Hi Maggie, Have a great trip to Maine and I am looking forward to seeing your pictures. I give up at times when I can't figure something out. Do you have a button that looks like an image button by chance. It is close to where you can add a link on mine. I don't know if that helped or not. I can relate to your back problem. I have lower back problems and is something I just have to live with. Surgery has been suggested, but not guarantees that it would help so I said forget it. Renters can be the pits, some just don't care. Have a great trip and will hear from you when you get back Hugs from Your Missouri Friend.

Maggie, Mine says insert imagine and that is where I down load my pictures next to the link button. Hope it helps. Hugs Your Missouri Friend.

Hi sweet Maggie, I missed you here on Blogger and I'm glad that you posted tonight.

I'm still keeping your son and brother in my prayers each night and I hope that they both are doing well.

Not being able to post photos is just about the most frustrating about blogging next to not being able to post comments. Hope you can figure it out soon.

By the looks of it you may need some prayers too. I hate teeth issues too and it leaves a dent in the pocket book for sure even with insurance.

Maybe you should settle for a tiara since a crown is so expensive.... I'm bad I know but just couldn't help myself... I hope that your trip in Maine will be a blast.
You are so close to New Brunswick. I would just love to be able to meet you and Christie. Wouldn't that be a hoot...

So sorry for the rude and inconsiderate tenants. It like a loosing battle with people like that. Hope that your back feels better soon and that your teeth get fixed as good as new.

Sending love your way,
Hugs. JB

Hope you have a nice trip and all your aches "stay put" a while so you can have fun. As for the renters, we just cannot get decent people at the farm house.

Oh, sweet Maggie I am so sorry to hear that yet another renter has moved out and left you a big mess to clean up. Sorry about your tooth too and so sorry you will be in pain for your trip. Praying you have a wonderful time and everything goes well while you are going, visiting and coming back from Maine. Love and hugs!

Maybe blogger is telling you to change...LOL.

My back has been out also for about a month now. It's no fun. I hope yours is better for your trip.

I can't imagine leaving a house dirty like that. I would be to embarrassed, and needless to say, how do people live in such filth? I am a picky housekeeper and it drives my hubby nuts, but I hate a messed up home.

Enjoy your trip my friend! That's a place I have always wanted to visit, but doubt I will ever get there, so enjoy it for me!!

God Bless~
Debbie

Have a wonderful trip. You will have fun even if it rains. Wish I could do this with my daughter. I would love to take a trip to Maine this time of year.
I don't know how to help you as to uploading pictures. I am still using the older blogger. I have a picture icon at the top......when I download the "Upload" button is way at the bottom.
Can you sell that rental. I don't understand why that keeps happening. Do they give you a big enough deposit so that someone else could clean it up. Your poor back. Be sure and take something with you to help with the pain.
Take lots of pictures and have fun.

Oh yes, please find that Picture button because I know you are going to have some fabulous photos from Maine. Those cool temperatures sound marvelous right now. Texas has been really hot, hasn't it?

Have a marvelous time--you deserve it!

First of all, I hope you have a fabulous trip to Maine, Maggie! Secondly, I hope you are keeping that renter's security deposit. You should definitely look into using Live Writer. It is a free download and you can draft and publish to your blog. I think you will have an easier time of it with this. I've been using it for the past three years now and can't imagine going back to the blogger drafting.

Sad how folks don't leave their
campsite
better than they found it
anymore.
Where are all the former
girl scouts!
Hope your back lifts
and lightens
like a willow in the breeze
and that your trip is joy
despite the teeth.
blessings to you
and that dental work:)

Have a great trip, Maggie!

I'm sorry your renters left you such a mess. Kinda stinks.

And I hate losing crowns. So expensive and no fun, either.

But Maine will make up for it all. I promise!

Maggie! A trip to Maine! I dream of that too someday! Too bad you are hunched over...sounds like you'll be seeing the bottom half ;) way better than the sky...you can see that anywhere ;)

I totally feel for you on that rental stuff! My dad owns a bunch of apartments and the renters can be as nice as pie but then when they move out...mess city! So my hubby & my dad keep busy... I wich you didn't have to clean up after them though! Your poor back!!! How much can that little back take!

I will have to call the blogger ceo & get your button back so we can see Maine with you! You can't do a post about Maine without pictures!!! I wonder what is wrong? A pain for sure, a;; the changes seem to make it harder & harder to just throw up a post quick.

Sending love! Hoping to be on here more since we are back to our school schedule! Miss ya!

Have a great trip. What your renter did to you was so unfair but there is always those kind of people out there....

I hope you have a nice time in Maine and that your back gets better in time to do just that.

I hate that you are having such a terrible time with your teeth. That is such a PAIN (in more ways than one).

You have the worst gosh awful time with your renters. Honestly, it seems that they all leave the place filthy and you have to start all over to clean it up. I hate for you to have to keep doing that. They don't seem to stay very long either. I do wish you could get a renter that would keep things clean for a change and stay at least a year.

Well, I am back, and still not feeling that well.......so much for a six week trip for me.
