The Wedding Blog Party!

Hi everyone! Today I am celebrating with Stephanie at Angelic Accents. It is her Wedding Anniversary and she has ask everyone to do a blog about weddings today. Hope you enjoy a stroll back in time and have fun looking at my pictures.
I don't know about him but it was love at first site for me!

Now who would of thought showing the love of my life my petticoat that it would lead to my Daddy walking me down the isle! I never noticed until I did this post how sad or serious my Daddy looked in this picture.

Our wedding party! Notice the best man his name is Babe and believe me ladies when I say he always lived up to that name! Ran into him about three months ago kissed him on the cheek and whispered you were always the best man....he has not aged a bit and as handsome as ever. Of course, his wife thinks so too!
The handsome couple on the left is my brother Billy and his wife Linda. Next to Linda is her sister Bonnie. Then beside me my Maid of Honor is Ruby who just happens to be Linda and Bonnie's sister too. I grew up with them and we now have Girlie weekends whenever our schedules allow.

Look how happy I am thinking about the honeymoon I guess.

I loved my wedding cake and of course it had pink roses to match my wedding bouquet! Aren't we just the cutest couple!

Leaving for our honeymoon!

A little dancing on our honeymoon!

Back home in Texas! I was always a sucker for a man wearing a Stetson and cowboy boots!

THANKS for sharing my DREAM wedding with me!
A GIRL CAN DREAM RIGHT?

Thanks Stephanie for asking me to join in your party and I hope your having the best Anniversary ever!
Also thanks to Christi for helping me with this when she was here last weekend. It's great to use the Post Options button where you can do post ahead of time and show them later.
My physical pool therapy starts soon. If only I did not have to but on a bathing suit!

Can't wait to see all the other sites that participated in this today.

Love to all

Maggie

OH! and if you don't wanna wear a bathing suit...throw on a tee over it...it's OK.

You rascle, you snookered me completely. I am so trusting. If that is the real you (see you have burned me now) then you were a real,if tiny, cutie. Ms Pearl hides in a small package. That best man was ADORABLE.
Shorts and a tee will do fine. Water therapy sounds like a great idea. Keep moving forward.

Oh Maggie.....you did it again!!! This was so cute. You know I loved Elvis too. The first time I heard him on the radio I thought he was an old man singer. You can imagine my surprise when I finally saw him on the Ed Sullivan Show. (O:(O:

Good luck with the therapy.

Dear Maggie, I just knew you would have a fun post for our WEDDING BLOG PARTY! Priscilla NEVER looked that good! :0)

Best Man was a hunk! You were such a beautiful bride and oh that Scarlet O'Hara 18 in. waist! I wasn't that tiny even on the day I was born!! I love your gown!

You took the high road and turned an idiot that let you go, into the KING! How classy and awesome is that!

Love your wedding cake, too. And inquiring minds want to know...is the little girl showing her stuff in the first picture really you? Adorable!

Hope you are feeling better each day and that therapy will go well. I'm soooo glad you joined the party! :0)

Big Hugs,
Stephanie

All my dreams fulfilled like Elvis says is what I have found with all of you guys.
Just wanted to check in all of you this morning and I needed to laugh so I knew you would not disappoint me. Your comments always crack me up.
Sorry about snookering a few of you as Patti said but I wanted to join the party but I thought who wants to see the real guy I married so I used my first love.
Yes this is me and back then I think I was a size 3 but you can more than triple that now. Where on where does ones waist go. Actually I nevered rememembered it until I saw these pictures.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Mine will be lying here again looking at the slats but those days are going to be far behind me really soon and then look out Ms Pearl may start coming out again.
Love to all
Maggie

Hi Maggie Sweetie...
How are you doing? Your spirits are good for sure. As always I can stop by and find myself either laughing hysterically or smiling so BIG it hurts. You are a writer my dear.

What a beautiful post. You made a beautiful bride, and why not add the MAN of your dreams? It is the cutest post ever.

We all had those tiny waists at one time didn't we? I now know why Grandma always said that God has a sense of humor in old age. I have seen it quite a bit of late.

I go back to see the doc on July 9th and he will decide when and if I can be released. I am still under lockdown. I so want to go outside and play. They are sending me to an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist on July 2nd so he can go down and take a look at my throat. I am still so hoarse I can hardly squeak out any voice. They want to make sure my larynx is okay and that there is nothing there that shouldn't be. This illness has drained me to say the least. I just want to be well again.

I am having an anniversary giveaway. Please stop by and sign up. As always I so love stopping by. I am hoping to be up and atem again. I have so missed blogging.

Country hugs sweetie and much love...Sherry
