Missing You!

Gosh I have missed all you! I don't really know where to start since it's been such a long dry run of not keeping up with my blog but mostly not being able to keep up with all of  you my dear sweet friends.

My main reason for not blogging is my faithful computer for almost six years is just too darn slow to do the least little thing on and to try and look up your sites or even leave a comment is now next to impossible.

This afternoon I decided to take a few hours off and visit my favorite library and confirm that it is my computer and not my internet service that is giving me fits. It only took a few minutes here at the library to confirm what I have known but wanted to deny for months. My computer needs to be buried in a deep hole on the North Forty!

Now I have to start the process of what to buy to replace it and when. I hate to spend the money but I do miss blogging and reading your wonderful post.

Another reason for my lack of blogging is the work out here on the North Forty has more than doubled in the past six months. It is a seven day a week job with not much time for anything else in my life.

My boss did take me to see another Loretta Lynn concert at her ranch in Hurricane Mills. TN,  this month. We did this trip about three years ago and to be able to see Loretta again and her ranch was awesome. She is 82 years old now and still has an amazing voice. Also performing that night was her sister Chrystal Gayle and Sheryl Crow.

It was a good trip but we froze the night of the concert. It was outside and the temps dropped to around 40 degrees a big change from two days before at the ranch with temps in the 90's. I thought I might freeze before she quit singing. I actually felt sorry for her because you could tell she was shivering and ready to get inside.

Barbara wanted to continue the trip a week longer visiting plantations in Mississippi and LA but I knew I had to get back to work. Once I fall behind out here there seems to be no catching up.

Summer is over and we are trying to have fall here but most days it is still in high 80's. I am still dealing with snakes too so I will be glad when a cold front finally sends them into hibernation.

Wish I had time to keep posting but I am on a public computer. I must not be greedy.

Just wanted to check in an explain my absence and to let you know I am still around. Still getting into messes out here on the North Forty but nothing serious.

Hopefully I can find a way to get a computer and maybe start visiting with all of you again soon.

You bring out the better person in me so not blogging has deepened my depression.

Please let me know how your doing. I can pull up my site on my phone so would love to hear how you are.

Love to all
Maggie

Dear maggie, I was getting worried about you. I'm so glad it's just the computer.

You're as bad as me working 7 days a week. I'm only blopgging about once a week and sometimes less. There's just not enough time.

I hope you're feeling well healthwise. I've gotten rid of a full basement of ceramic molds , all the glazes, paints and supplies are gone. I can now put my car in the garage and open doors on both sides...It's taken me a month and a half of heavy work to get it done. The chapter is close and I feel free.

I'm still up a ladder trimming the hedge for a few more days. Good butts and biceps exercises. I'm keeping in shape by default.

Stay in touch once in a while.
I've missed you a lot.
Hugs,
JB

Oh, sweet Maggie I am so happy to hear from you. I have missed you terribly. I am so sorry to hear about your computer and I hope you can find a way to get one at a good price. I am glad you got to go see and hear Loretta again. I am sorry it turned cold while you were there though. It is good to hear that no major issues other than your computer have been going on there.

Two of my kitties passed away so we were pretty sad around here for awhile but we are doing better now. It has been in the 80's here but it turned cooler last night so looks like we might finally have some fall like weather.

Hope your family is doing well and your health is staying good. If I lived near you I would come and help you with all that work you have to do.

Me and my crew send you and the kitties lots of love, some big, warm hugs and nose kisses.

Take care of your sweet self and thanks sweet Maggie for taking the time to let us know how you are.

Maggie

It's great to hear from you, Maggie. I hope you come up with a computer soon! If you lived closer, I have a monitor that I could give you, but you'd still need the stack and keyboard.

Nice to hear from you. It's still hot here in south Texas too. I'm ready for some winter. Us and the cows are still hanging in there but we lost our old cat Susie. Don't think she could have gone through another winter though. Take care and hope you get your computer.

How wonderful to see Loretta Lynn in person and how hardy you all are to be able to watch it in the open air of 40 degrees. The low temperatures would have had me scurrying to my car and turning on my IPod.

I hope u you get your computer issues fixed. I am having many problems on my iPad since I downloaded their new system. It has slowed everything and I can no longer access my mail from my provider. I think Apple does this so we will all have to go out and buy their newer and more expensive model.

Well, you have totally been missed too!!!!! What a treat for me to see a post from you.

I hope you are able to find the computer you need.

7 days a week of work....that is no fun. Where's the dancing and partying??

Hugs and loves my friend.

Loretta Lynn is 82! Oh my, how wonderful that you got to see her again. What a thrill that would be. Snakes would be enough to keep me in the house all summer, unless of course they were in the house too! I'm sure you are getting even more excited and busy as the wedding draws near...let us know about it all. Take care dear fudgy friend, I miss you, things are well here, yay.

I am glad you found a way to post and let us know how you are doing. We do worry when someone seems to disappear. Funny how we don't just assume something good--like the cowboy has swept you off your feet.

So glad you made it to the library to fill us in. I try to think no news is good news when a blogger goes missing but you know we worry. Good to know it was just a cranky computer. Have you had it serviced? It might just have a bug or maybe it is just constipated and needs a good geek physic. Hope you get back on the Net soon. You have been missed.
Stay healthy, happy and don't work too hard.

Good to hear that you're fine and all's well in Texas! Temps are chilly up here and I can't believe October's over tomorrow. All's well at the Pines and I'll be blogging about our Halloween dinner we're hosting tommorow. Should be spooktakular!

Hello dear. I was worried about you. Will all that work continue. That's no fun working so much. Sorry about your computer. I mostly use my Kindle Fire. They are so much cheaper than a computer and you can do almost everthing. It takes great pictures too.
How is the family doing. Wish we were closer , we could cheer each other up. Hugs

Hi, Maggie: I'm so glad to hear from you and know that you're okay -- if overworked and minus a reliable computer. I hope you're able to get a new one soon!

I've been away a lot, too, the last few months with the publication and promotion of my book Purr Therapy.
(I'll send you a copy if you send me your address via my gmail: drkathymccoy@gmail.com)

The concert sounds amazing! How is your family? How are you? So sorry to hear the depression is worse. Hope getting reconnected with the blogging world helps!

Love,
Kathy

It is said worry causes gray hair; it pays not to worry - right? Good to know your are okay. Lucky you - I love Loretta's voice. Ew, no robot here; now let me see if I can guess what those letters are. Wishing one could mow snow....AWAY!
