And The Winner IS

Like all of you this morning my heart is absolutely breaking for the families and friends of all in Newtown, Ct.
I could not sleep last night thinking about those precious children taken so young and got so angry that I thought of things I was going to say this morning but have decided not to do so. It won't bring these angels back to their families and I may say things left better unsaid.

How do these families recover. They won't and it just is killing me this morning. May God Bless all of these families and heal their hearts.

Now for Happy news I do have a winner for my Candy Giveaway. I put in 1 thru 29 at the Random Generator site and Number 4 came up. Well I can tell you I was quite surprised and happy
that our very sweet friend Cathy over at Acorn Hollow won. Yep you won! So a big Congrats to you and  glad you came back again because it paid off. lol  Looking forward to hearing from you and finding out if you want the Fudge or the Peanut Clusters.

Thank you all for entering my giveaway. I would give anything to be able to send out candy to each and everyone of you that entered. Hopefully next year I can have more giveaways and you might be the next big winner.

Be safe this weekend and know this ole grandma thinks of you often and sends Love to All

Congratulations Cathy on your winning that yummy fudge. I'm glad that you won because I no longer can eat chocolate and winning and not being able to eat it would be unbearable.
The only chocolate I can eat now is something made with cocoa since it has no soy in it.

Today my heart is very heavy for the loss of promising young lives that was full of Christmas expectations from their earthly parents.
Prayers for the families of those innocent victims.
Little angels all of them, may they rest in eternal peace and love.
Hugs, JB

Thanks for saying it best, Maggie. There are so many thoughts we all have about the tragedy in Newton, such heartbreak and unending grief for those families most affected. They're in all our thoughts and prayers.

I have been over whelmed with that school shooting My daughter is a teacher and I have a sweet little grandbaby. So it really hit home with me. It has scared my daughter so much she goes to tears just thinking about it.She said it makes her scared to back in the classroom.

Yeah for the winner.
My heart just hurts. You can't help but think of those children and their families. Also the teachers and the first responders. We have to beieve that the children are with Jesus and are not suffering like their families. How could you ever get over something like that. Praying hard for them all. (((((HUGS)))) to you.

Still stunned by an incomprehensible act of horror on sweet children, the adults who tried to protect them and the parents and kin whose family fabric has been ripped apart by the whim of a demented mind. This time of year will always be a grisly reminder. Praying for them and us.

Maggie, it's heartbreaking to think of the violence those little ones endured. Honestly, I can't take much more of the newscasts. The details are so overwhelming, and in the end, they don't change a thing. I only hope that this is the last time we hear the words, "school shooting" on the news ~

Congratulations to the winner! I'm sure your candy is really yummy. I hope that one day I will be able to get a taste.

I cannot even imagine losing a child, and to lose one by some crazy young gunman would be just awful. I too really felt for those families in this latest tragedy. I keep hoping this will be the last one, but it seems there is always another one. I hate it!!!!!

PS. I agree that the Newtown tragedy is heartbreaking. Simply unimaginable for such a thing to happen.
