Maxine on Winter!

Thought I would share with you some winter cartoons from our friend Maxine.









Silly I know but thought you might need a laugh or two today. Myself I am staying of the phone for some peace in my life. Only humans are allowed in my life today. Nice ones only I should add.

    Maxine is always good for a laugh to begin the day.

    We have had some additional "cold snaps" as we used to say in TX.

    It is 37 deg this a.m. and still cloudy but sun is supposed to come out today.

    I love that girl Maxine. She says it like it is, kind of like Ms Pearl.lol
    I know what you mean about press 1,2. I think they should answer it with humans. They can not be that busy!!!!

    Thanks for the laughs! It's rained all week, the temps are now falling and a ton of snow will arrive tonight and tomorrow, followed by more rain, snow and me crying...but I knew I could count on you to make me happy!

    Just got another email today with Maxine comics, that also included some information on the creator of Maxine. I was surprised that it was a man--John Wagner, who has been at Hallmark as an artist since 1970. Who would have thought that a guy could be so "spot on?"

    It fits me to a T. I had a god chuckle over the cartoon. I hope that it soon will warm up. I was at a funeral today and it was so cold in the church I had to pinch myself just to make sure that I wasn't dead and that it wasn't my funeral.lol... JB

    Funny funny! I especially liked the one about there only being two seasons, flu and allergy. That seems to be the way it is around here, because even though it is nice weather in winter where I live, people still seem to get the flu, and I am totally allergic in the spring! Thanks for the good laugh.

    I love Maxine. I took care of a patient in the ER today that I swear Maxine was designed after.
    She was the stinkin' funniest woman I've ever dealt with.
    She had a hip fracture, but she had us all in stitiches.
