SAVING HAITI one bead at a time is what this precisous little girl named ANNIE is doing! When I visited her moms site this past week I knew what I wanted my next Temptation Mondays post to feature. Isn't she just beautiful inside and out. I had to share this with all of you.
I pasted this paragraph and pictures from Libbies site The Middlest Sister..
When I told Annie about all that is going on in Haiti...I will never forget the horror on her face. She said, "Mom we have to go there no matter how far away it is & help."
When I explained that we can't go there but we could help in other ways she said, "Let's give them ALL our money and send Dad to work tomorrow to make more money for us."
That is when I said, "Annie, we can't give away ALL our money, but, if you had money you could give it to them. Maybe you could make something to sell."
When she got home from Kindergarten at noon she worked for 6 hours stright making bracelettes. I could not believe how hard she worked!

What a sweet heart precious little Annie has. If she is so willing to work so hard for people she does not know at the young age of five, just think of all God has in store for this one.

Such a sweet story. Children have the purist sweet thoughts and often cut right through the fluff. In the NewYork Times there is sweet story of a little girl who talked her parents into selling their mansion for a small place so they could feed a hungry man she saw begging on the street.

What a sweetheart! Little kids have such generous spirits about them. I am sure her Dad was thrilled with the thought of all his hard earned $ being spent for him though!

Libbie has to be sooo proud of her. Her smile is just infectious. I want to go through the computer screen and give her a big hug! I love the pictures of her going to the houses "alone" as she said in her little boots and coat. There needs to be more quality kids like her in this world, but she's that way because her parents are the example for her. Way to go Libbie!!
Maggie, I love your cute pink house. It's way too adorable. I guess your little kitty is in heaven living there. Speaking of your kitty, I loved the story about the game you play with him. I can see, I mean smell, why he ran out on you the other day! That's too funny!!
